Because her parents made her apply for it.

She outright called Garou "Freaks" And tried once to run away from home.

something occurs to him as he and Pista talk, and he looks his friend in the eyes, something he rarely does and even now he makes sure that it is obviously not a challenge..

"I don't have to use it on her, do I? just sneak it in?"

He remembers having to dish out physical punishment before, and how much he dislikes it..

pista sighs "I would like you to actually place it in her stocking but you dont have to use it on her yourself"

He always feels bad when he makes his mentor sigh like that, since he always wants to make the man proud..

"I can do that..is there a special kind of switch I need to make for this to be done right?"

"Just something nasty like hickory apple or peach"

he nods..

"I can do that"

he paces a little..

"Are her parents going to be home? I don't relish trying to sneak into one of your kinds house.."

"Neither of them has the bequest but yes they will be home."

He takes a moment to gather his thoughts, then looks at his friend..

"I've never said no to you, and I'm not about to start now, if this needs to be done, it will be..I'll just need the address and to find the earliest flight home..and one to get me back as soon as possible after it's done..so I can be here with everyone"

Something else pops into his head..

"I need to research Japanese customs and views about Christmas and celebrating it..I want to make it as amazing for Yoshimi as I can, since she'll be away from home"

"One thing I know of is the christmas cake..."

He thinks for a moment, then realizes he has no idea what that entails..

"That's a good place to start, thanks..I'll do my research"

then something occurs to him and he looks at his friend again..

"Is there anything I can do for you and the family?"

Pista smiles "For about a hundred dollars you can commision any cake you want"

he smiles back..

"How will it travel tho? or would I need to get that around here...and do you and everyone have anything special you do for Christmas I can help with?"

"You can be there on christmas morning along with yoshimi"

He looks at his friend, his eyes serious but his smile huge..

"I wouldn't miss it..I should let her know I'm leaving and when I'll be back, I'll tell her I have business to attend to..will also help her get used to me having to leave sometimes..does that make sense?"

nods at that.

"Is there anything else I should know, Nii-Chan, before I start getting things going?"

His mind going in so many directions, even as he tries to organize his thoughts..

"Make sure Yoshimi Knows your going just put the switch in the stocking."

He nods..

"I will, and of course..normally we'd share a drink before I left, but I don't think you have anything..or do you?"

"Lets do the drinking when your back"

he smiles, holding out his hand..

"Sounds perfect..I better go get this all in motion..should I text you once I get there..or just let you know when it's done?"

"I better get going on this, it won't be easy getting a flight this close to Christmas..but it'll happen..and I still need to talk to Yoshimi.."

he pauses on his way out the door..

"I know I won't be gone long, but can you make sure she's ok, and that she still has fun, please?"

Smiles gleefully.

"I will be happy too"

He nods and smiles..

"Thank you, Nii-Chan"

He heads out of the suite and towards the elevator, going back to his own rooms, needing to take care of a couple of things before he gets a hold of Yoshimi..
