5 foot step be fine though. Also AoO will be subject to 20% miss from concealment. Not that you want to rely on that!

Oh, so sorry to hear that.

I'm guessing, since I'm pretty sure you and Trace are brothers in RL, Sharon is his mother too. Be strong you two, sending good thoughts your way and hoping everything goes well. Don't worry about us, we'll pace accordingly, but let us know how things are going when you get a chance.

Ah, forgot to move you, sorry! You're actually 5 feet south of where you appear on the map, and Courvana is therefore 5 feet north.

Doesn't affect the damage though. it wasn't from sneak attack, it was from a crit.

The hex is on Giggles not the dog. The dog isn't charmed, rather Giggles is hexxed to seem disturbing to animals. That will last for hours, whether he's attacked or not. So I think you helped :-)

Regarding harrow points, it varies by chapter in the adventure path. But for this chapter, you can spend a point in the following ways

Dexterity Rerolls: A PC can spend a Harrow Point to reroll an initiative check, Reflex save, attack roll modified by Dexterity, or Dexterity-based check. The PC must abide by the new result (although if he has additional Harrow Points, he can use them for additional rerolls).
Dodge Bonus: A PC can spend a Harrow Point to gain a +1 dodge bonus to his Armor Class for one encounter. He can spend up to 3 Harrow Points per encounter to increase his Armor Class in this manner.
Speed Increase: A PC can spend a Harrow Point to increase his base speed by 10 feet for one encounter.

Technically I think to benefit from the Dodge bonus or Speed increase you should do it prior to the encounter starting, but I'll let you do it on your turn as an immediate action if you want.

Reroll on your last attack is totally doable with a harrow point though. As long as you get it in before I update, which will be in a couple of hours.

Naw. She's nervous facing an old torturer, and her rolls are reflecting this. However, if I decide future attempts require a refocus of resolve, I shall so spend a Harrow point.

Sorry for the initiative mess up there. I just edited my post and reposted it for my turn.

I've been a bit distracted. I've got an important bid due next week that's taking my mental super-powers. ;-)

OK, trying to work out the timings here.. bear with me. This is what I'm going with,

In round 5 (I think) Giggles KOs Trace, Arias misses him, then Courvana finished off Giggles. I thnik it's this round where Guillemot tears off after Yargin, and ends at the bottom of the stairs in the room with the hole to the river. The advantage of going last in initiative, you get to react after the bad guy is down! Yargin jumps through the hole.

Round 6, Arias goes outside and kills Hookshanks, Klag and Mirabelle revive Trace, Trace wakes up, Guillemot jumps into the unknown! I think this is the round where Courvana chases after Guillemot. She'll end up at the bottom of the stairs.

Round 7, Arias carries Hookshanks back in, Klag heals Trace, Trace and Mirabelle do ... I don't know what, Guillemot secret secret stuff, Courvana moves to the opening in the floor. This takes her move action, but only one, she has one left (or a standard).

Round 8 which hasn't happened yet, Arias chases after Guillemot and Courvana.

So... I need to update Courvana on what she sees (meet me in Guillemot's thread) and I need actions from Mirabelle and Trace for round 7, and a standard or move action from Courvana.

It might not be 100% correct, but it's canon now!

Daniel Tracelon (Trace):
(wow ...sorry...a few days of frantic 13-15 hour shifts and I'm rounds away...)

Trace winced at the bruised ribs he had from the half-orcs flail. And stood unsteadily to his feet thanking Mirabelle and Klag then thought to himself to hurry...and hearing Guillemots cursed and heavy breathing he frowned for a second letting spacial awareness settle in and moved to the door he had sat near and jerked it open...(opening door to East)

Not too many rounds, and you did spend some of them unconscious :-)

You raise a good point though. How's the pace? I've been shooting for 4 updates a week, but since I don't do much on weekends that's pretty much once a day during the weekdays. Too fast? I find if I go much slower I tend to lose the plot in between posts, but of course everyone needs to match pace.

Won't make any decisions until I hear from everyone, since basing pacing decisions only on those who can respond quickly is a little off :-)

I suspect 4 a week is going to be workable going forward. But will wait to hear from Guillemot/Courvana/Klag.

I like the pacing. RPOL is so slow sometimes that I tend to lose track of details and plot if I'm not engaged. I think if we're all ok with this and we aren't able to post, just NPC us, especially when out of combat to keep things moving. I think for me, personally, my times of not being able to post 4/week are the exception. Weekends are less or if I'm working out of town in the boonies, but I try to let everyone know if at all possible.

Sorry. Mixed genres. In Hero games, an Acrobatics roll is needed to roll to your feet as a 0-phase action.
