Re: OOC chat

Entangled just slows us down though right so theoretically once we are out of the area...

Re: OOC chat

I think the entangled goes with you, doesn't it? Either way it's one round to leave the area, and the entangled condition only lasts for 2 rounds because you guys had spectacular rolls against the trap. And I'm not bitter about that :-P

Guillemot is bringing something to help, and you're not even going to need it!

Going to give Courvana and Klag a chance to get in, but will update soon, probably tomorrow if I don't hear from you guys, earlier if I do!

Re: OOC chat

Ah, good question. Shouldn't be too hard. DC 10 sleight of hand check to catch as an immediate action?

Sure let's go with that.

Looks like Trace is +7 on sleight of hand, so basically don't roll a 1 or a 2.

Re: OOC chat

Updated my post. Aiding Trace now. Apparently Trace isn't being "wielded" by the otyuhng-thingee and cannot be "disarmed". For a while there I thought I was soooo clever! ;-) Korvosan Scarf has a bonus to Disarm maneuver... aw well.

Re: OOC chat

Not Stealthy nor, especially, Percepty... Guillemot's of no use here unless he tries to double back and lead the Hellknights astray, but, even as rash as he is, he knows there's a high probability that wouldn't go well at all.

My vote is to follow the new route, for not particular reason other than Gaedran has our number and we've fallen for each of his traps so far, would hate to miss one! ;-)

Re: OOC chat

Waiting for Trace to chime in on Klag's plan (since he's the one out in front!) but I think the consensus is go down the 'new path' with Trace out in front sneaking and scouting. Moving quickly so stealth at -5.

That work for everyone? Especially Trace?

Re: OOC chat

BTW anyone who has played this adventure path before will know that I'm, um, what's the technical term? Making shit up as I go along.

Lamm was supposed to die in the fishery, but I just couldn't resist giving him a long shot escape route and then he got away! And so playing a little off module as written since then :-)

Both this encounter and the otyugh encounter are actually in the book. They're just supposed to happen above ground!

I think with a few more twists and turns I'll have you back to the adventure path as written! And then I won't be able to resist modifying it more likely.

Well, I haven't played this AP, so it's all new to me, but I gotta say that I really like the way this is going. Lamm is a great bad guy, and, as a player, I'd reallllly like to nail that bastage! So keep doing what you're doing, and don't make Lamm an easy kill just to get him out of the way, I wanna earn it! ;-) I figured him to be an over-arching and returning villain. You really ought not have said anything to break the spell! ;-)

This has been a fun game, I enjoy playing with all of you!

Re: OOC chat

I have also never even looked at this adventure path, but even if I had my feelings would be that you GM are the story teller, we are but travelers in your world. So far if I was to grade you game, I would say it's off the charts. You keep telling the tale however you choose, I follow where ever you lead and plan on being in you game until it ends.

I hope that made sense...

Basically I'm waiting to hear from Trace whether he wants to try to coup de grace the slumbering imp. Once I know I can update accordingly.
