Adventure - Singularity
Stepping through the doorway of light, Abethur entered a place most unlike any world he'd inhabited before. This place was like the empty cosmos of space with light painted across the backdrop. It was such an alien scene it took long moments for his eyes to process what exactly he was seeing. Those vast shades of light painted painting the world around him seemed to be buildings, there were windows, doors, streets. All of it bled into one another, there wasn't a crisp distinction between a wall and ceiling like in the other worlds Abethur had visited. These thousands shades and colors of light made up the world. There were flickers of movement amongst the color and Abethur realized these flickers of light were moving purposefully. They were intelligent creatures.

Walking through the glimmering streets, all was not well here. Light was fading and flickering. The darting colors were flowing in a unified direction, and that seemed to be away from the encroaching darkness. All of this felt quite similar. Then it struck him. Abethur was watching a world collapse during the End. What had been hours (Or days? It was hard to say) ago for him was only just happening here. It was a strange sensation seeing an echo of his own worlds destruction here.

There were really only two options, three if he counted walking right back out the door he'd entered. He could walk against the flow of light and approach the edges of the realm where the world was falling away, or he could following the flowing light to what was undoubtedly its center. If this was like his own world, there he would find the god of this place in its final moments.

Adventure - Singularity
Abethur looked at the world around with an amused wonder. It was odd, alien in fact, but also beautiful. He had never seen a place forged of light and animated in such scintillating details. The lack of distinction between walls, windows, streets, and the sky was disorienting to say the least but there was a sense of kinship as well. A morphic place were limits seemed purposeless.

His eyes alighted to the blurring streaks and streams of chromatic light and as he realized their sentience he also became aware of their fear. He turned to look at the darkness, to confirm the fear that was growing in his heart. It was the Catacylsm all over again but unlike before he didn't have the fleeting blessing of ignorance. He knew, without a shadow of a doubt, that this power would unmake this world.

And the mortals were all fleeing away from the only known exit. They were likely rallying to their god. Believing sadly that salvation might be at hand. He had to hurry to them, to warn them of their futility and perhaps save some of them while he still could. So he took off, his morphic power strengthening his body.

Adventure - Singularity
Reshaping the muscles in his legs and strengthening the tissue of his lungs, Abethur turned and sprinted after the fleeing beings of light. Where his feet fell the ground of light rippled. The others running along with him had only the faintest tangible presence, like a soft breeze, their sounds were like distant strings reverberating, so faint one could almost think they were imagining the sounds. Compared to them Abethur seemed a cacophonous presence, an avalanche bearing down. One could only imagine how they saw him.

Following the gleaming crowds Abethur reached the heart of this place. There he found the god of this realm. There was no doubt of that. The being had a presence more tangible than anything around it. Composed of light, it seemed almost crystalline. It was floating geometry that was anxiously flitting from one side then to another. The being had such a presence, it seemed to fill the entire place. It was a god still in its full glory.

The god of light stopped and its colors went completely white as it saw Abethur, then a tinge of blue crept in.

Curiosity.

It was a sensation. Then a burst of red appeared in the crystalline god and quickly darkened to spread across all of it.

Accusation.

Abethur spoke and tried to return the sensations in kind to match his words.

Friendship

"I am Abethur, god of evolution. I am a visitor and I'm hear to help.

Fear

He gestured to the darkness.

"This darkness consumed my world. Destroyed my people.

Hope

He pointed to himself.

"I might be able to help. If you'll let me."

The god of light leaned in closed to the much smaller Abethur.

Skepticism.

The crystalline icons tilted up to look forwards the horizon where the lights were already growing dimmer, then tilted back towards Abethur.

How?

Abethurs turned towards the portal he had come through.

Portal

"There is a rift into this world. It leads to be another realm. It is the closest place to a refuge that we have."

Hurry

"We don't have much time. We have to go now or all is lost."

Trust

"I need you to trust me. The worse has already come."

Adventure - Singularity
There was silence. It stretched on for several precious moments, all the while the horizon darkened. Then the god of this collapsing realm dipped slightly, perhaps a sort of nod for being that did not have a head.

Reluctant trust.

The god followed after Abethur along with a score of those shimmering entities which seemed to make up the mortals of this world. It was hard to say just how many of them there were since their form was so alien and indistinct. The group followed as Abethur led them back the way they'd come. At least Abethur hoped so. This realm was so foreign in both its shape and design that really he was going off memory more than any visual landmarks. This unlikely entourage hurried even as this shimmering world darkened.

There it was! The doorway! Taking them to the gateway Abethur motioned through, half fearful they wouldn't be able to traverse the door, luckily that fear was unfounded. Light started to flow through the gateway. Most of the world had gone dark. It was happening so quickly. Then the crystalline lord hovered down and delicately squeezed through the frame, last Abethur followed.

Outside they stood amongst the rubble of the Cosmic Wastes, the shimmering house of light behind them was quivering. Light danced and shimmered amongst the wreckage, it was the new refugees of that strange realm exploring. Then the house exploded it a silent burst of illumination that lit up the Wastes for miles. That must have marked the demise of the realm, just like Abethur's, just like the other gods Abethur had stumbled across in his travels. But there was one key difference here, the resident lord of that realm had left before it fell. It had minutes of warning the other gods did not, that was enough.

Now it hung there in there, Abethur could still feel the power radiating off it. It seemed that being outside its realm before the fall had spared it the worst of the devastation. This was a god in its full glory.

Abethur had returned the full divine to the Wastes.

For good or ill.

Aspects Available

Armament of Light: That burst of illumination was more than just the dying gasp of a realm, it was a great release of power. That strangely solid light was dissipating, but before it did, Abethur could pluck it up. It could be woven and shaped and given form and purpose. Malleable as a raw material, it could either be formed into an edged weapon that would be sharper than any mundane blade could ever hope to be, or fashioned into armor that would be light as air, but strong as armor that was inches thick.
Artifact: Create either an edged weapon or armor of solid light (Either should be given a name if made)

Speed of Light: Being washed in that wave of light, Abethur's malleable body could also open itself up to absorb that energy. Those photons would infuse his cells aided by divine power and would lie latent until he called on them again. Then, for a brief moment, Abethur could channel that light and become like it for a brief moment.
Supernatural Power: Blinding Speed - One per week Abethur may activate this power, when he does so he may take two additional actions in the time it would normally take to do one.

Abethur looked about the space following the collapse of the world to the Cataclysm. It was clear that the power of the world had passed into him, absorbed by his morphic influence and integrated into what he might call his celestial soul.

Abethur claims Speed of Light

Still there was the simple matter of the newly saved divinity and their people. Abethur was quickly realizing that perhaps bringing an fully powered god and their mortals to the Cosmic Wastes wasn't the most logical plan. Especially since he had no idea of their motives or nature. That aside he did save them from a certain death, perhaps that was worth whatever was to come.

Relief

"Seems we made it through."

Sorrow

"I'm sorry I couldn't have arrived earlier. To save more of your people."

Curiosity

"What will you do now?"

Adventure - Singularity
The newly homeless god doesn't seem to be paying attention to Abethur. The emotions radiating off the divine being felt like physical waves.

Confusion.

Loss.

Rage.

Curiosity.

The emotions came and went quickly as the god got its bearings. It floated up higher and was turning in slow circles as it assessed the lay of the land. It was  hard to imagine what was going through the mind of the god at that moment. Perhaps easier so for Abethur as he'd recently experienced it himself. The difference here was that this god was no diminished.

Floating back down the god returned its attention to Abethur. There was a long pause as it assessed him.

Curiosity.

The feeling presented, Abethur could feel the god peering into him, its attention was like a spotlight. It was looking at the light Abethur had recently taken into himself. Its existence in the god of evolution seemed to puzzle this divinity.

How?

It took a moment to realize. The way Abethur had collected this power was alien to the god. It seemed that burst of power had gone unnoticed earlier. The Aspects of reality that had become so commonplace to the god of evolution were apparently unobtainable to an intact divinity. Abethur's own questions were either forgotten or ignored as the god tried to solve the puzzle that was Abethur's newly collected power.

Abethur watched as the god went through the motions of their loss, giving them time to process it as it came to them. When they finally settled their attention on him again he elected to simply answer their questions rather than to restate his own. At the end of the day he was sure he would learn one way or another.

Broken

Healing

Change

Growth

Adventure - Singularity
There was a long somber silence.

Decision.

The god radiated with newfound purpose. It's light grew brighter, the intensity washed over the Wastes until there was nothing but brilliant white light. When that light faded the area was changed. The debris choking the fields here was burnt away leaving only the smooth black plain that was the Wastes itself. A perfect circle had been carved out, in this new clearing the mortals of light could more clearly be seen in the way they shone. Lines up light rose up from the ground, they carved out divides, forming walls and corridors. Upwards these glowing barriers climbed, the god rising up with them. All it took place in silence, not with the cacophony one usually expected to accompany construction.

In a few moments time a grand palace of shimmering light had been erected in the place where the realm gateway once stood. Abethur hadn't moved and he now found himself in a sort of throne room, there the god of light hung above a dais. The architecture here was more recognizable than it had been in the gods home realm, perhaps light was more fickle for molding here. Regardless, Abethur had an easier time recognizing doors, arches and buttresses that composed this new chamber.

"I will be a god."

The words sounded like the clinking of wind chimes, but they were not hard to make out. It seemed the god of light had finally answered Abethur's question, and used audible sound at that. No doubt that answer seemed very straight forward to the god in question, but as a god who had fallen quite far from his powerful heights, it begged the question, what did that mean?

Abethur wasn't sure what the light god meant by their statement but ultimately decided that it was not necessarily worth probing about. Instead he decided that their time together would have to come to an end.

"Then I shall leave you too it. I will be exploring the rest of this area. If something proves dangerous please do not hesitate to contact me. I am unsure how but I believe in your power."

With that Abethur moved away from the fortress of light and back across the charred bridge. On the other side he used Evolve on the downed tree to see what it would become.

Adventure - Singularity
Safely across the fallen tree which formed the bridge (3 crossings remaining) Abethur applied his divine power to the bridge, more out of curiosity than anything else it would seem. The fire blackened wood crumpled and flaked away, what was left was something only a fraction of the size, a flake of jewel that fit easily in the palm of Abethur's hand. It was a shard of diamond. Perhaps not unexpected since the tree had been reduced to basic carbon and diamond was the most refined version of said carbon. The bridge was consumed in the process and Abethur was left with gemstone of its memory. But the diamond was not a mundane crystal. Perhaps it was the touch of the divine, or perhaps its existence on the Wastes, but power was left over in its facets. Power that would not respond to Abethur, but might be of use to another shard. (Bridge destroyed in the process)

Obtained: Shard of Diamond - Useless to the one who originally obtained it, to anyone else this Shard of Diamond will serve as an artifact component, any artifact crafted using it will be exceptional hard and durable.

with that Abethur was returned to his original patch of the Wastes, his adventure seemingly concluded at this time.
