For frame of reference, since the conversation has carried over from elsewhere: This is Former Inas.


I'm thinking some form of spellcaster, but am rather flexible on its details so will wait because Former Ben had something specific in mind and I want to not accidentally get too close.

Plus, we may need a thief, and if nobody else does it . . .

I'm fine without being a caster.  Other than that, I have no immediate preferences.  My rolls came out pretty good.

That's not the way to do it.  The way to do it is come up with a character concept that depends on certain rolls, get really excited about/attached to the concept, then roll, then cry/curse because you didn't get what you needed.

I thought the standard method was just to keep rolling until you got what you wanted?

Then misunderstand the 2 for 1 swap rules and forget how to add properly.  If you're sloppy and bad at math, it's not cheating, right?

Does anyone want to be a charismatic mouthpiece for the party?  Then everyone else can dump stat it?

Uncharismatic mouthpieces are more fun for everyone.

I put together a fighter without any ranged weapons other than a hand axe.

I was reminded that this was the version with the uneven gold conversion scale.
