Re: Story questions
Shatterfist missed with the Charge/move-through, and is now in Stalker's Aura?

Yes, he ran through the aura and got drained. He wasn’t expecting to miss. =)

Re: Story questions
Sorry I didn't get here yesterday. Two folks called out at the office, so I was left holding the bag for my team, as my partner was forced to man the desk in their stead.

Re: Story questions
No worries. I know how that goes. I am the only IT person in my company, so I get to do everything. Fortunately, it is a small company, so it is usually relaxed. But when it gets busy, I could potentially be out of gaming commission for weeks.

It happens. =)

Isn't an Entangled person effectively DCV 0, allowing for size modifiers?

Re: Story questions
Oooh, you're correct.  Had it in my head they were only 1/2 DCV.  In that case, Stalker's going for a ride...

Re: Story questions
Has all the STR drain occured on this turn? Or has Str drained in the previous Turn started filtering back? I am assuming that 6e hasn't changed the rate of Drained Characteristics recovery, has it?

Re: Story questions
Yep, all this Turn.  Assuming Stalker doesn't have Delayed Rate of Return we should get 5 STR back either Post-12 or Segment 2 of next Turn (seg 2 was first time Olympia got drained)

Re: Story questions
Two Answers...

1. Yes, Olympia did get ahold of Shadow Stalker. She was DCV 0 due to the entangle, so Olympia carried her up and is now in the air with her.

2. ... "assuming"... =)

'Suggest' to Stalker that losing your Strength at a great height wouldn't be the best for her own health.....

Re: Story questions
That was a nice combo, Sharpshooter.
It'll take more of that "tag-team" approach if we're going to stop the supers.  Maybe you guys can wrap up the agents on 12 and then we focus on Shatterfist or Stalker.  Best thing is they're currently away from the hostages.

Re: Story questions
Ok, some delays here as I get my head back on properly.

My company is finishing its move to their office locations today, after months of delays and remodeling, and things have been a bit busy.

I didn't make a chance to get the map updated nor craft a post for Shadow Stalker, and I may not quite make one today, as it will be rather busy. I'll get to that as soon as I can.

Re: Story questions
Since when can you go Desolid for only a half phase, make a 40m move AND resolidify to attack? Too many actions in a phase, SPEED 7 or not.

Re: Story questions
I believe she spread those out across Segments 11 & 12, right?

Also, Stalker was only 20m up, not 40m.  I think the confusion is that Olympia had to use 40m of Flight to rise up 20m off the ground since upward movement costs and extra meter.

Re: Story questions
Indeed, I had it in my mind that she was 40 meters up. My bad. Either way, doing the attack would have finished her move in the same space due to the her half-move reach.

I'm not so far out that I won't get a parting shot off. 0 STUN is partially conscious, right?

Re: Story questions
0 stun is Knocked Out. After checking the rules, Sharpshooter DID lose his grip on his gun, but it is lying just a few feet away from him. Because the attack knocked him out AND knocked him back, he is still prone.

Sharpshooter gets a full post-segment 12 recovery, and will have some STN and END for his first phase in Turn 2.

Partially Conscious? Yes, to a degree. He may still notice some important or loud things, although it comes in through a haze/fog. However, all normal Knockout rules apply: he can't do anything but take recoveries until he's STUN positive again. His END will equal his STUN when he wakes up.

Re: Story questions
My wife is in the hospital all weekend and at least through Monday, when she will have her gall bladder removed. How much recovery from that will depend on other factors.

I'll be away for a few days, possibly most of next week. Monday we'll see how long her recovery will be.

I hope that everything goes well and that she has a full and fast a recovery as possible. Don't forget to take care of you and the rest of the family too.

Thank you all.

Arcana, I will not fail to do so. My son works pretty much all weekend, and my daughter is happy at home.  I'm camping at the hospital all weekend.  I've got my laptop, wifi, and netflix.

Now, normally I would joke "that's all a self-respecting bachelor would need", but you are no bachelor, so it doesn't apply to you. But I wanted to make the joke anyway, so here it is. =)
