Nisor was unsure of how the battle would progress but he knew that he was likely not going to be too heavily involved in direct combat. Still it would be a good idea to ensure that he wasn't punched full of holes.

Nisor casts Mage Armor on himself. +4 AC

Surprise Phase Resolution.

Flutterdew - Has just cast Obscuring Mist as her action, and wont be able to fly up till after the surprise resolution.

Andrew - has activated his armor to improve his armor class by 2.  I believe i am waiting on an attack roll for his charge attack?

Brigitte - lobs a tombstone a few dozen yards out and watches at it lands on a surprised human, marking his final resting place a moment later as the heavy weight crushes his head where he stands leaving quite a mess behind in the process.  Human Q4 is convincingly dead.

Daubra - Shuffles herself East, to keep up with the action as it becomes apparent the direction everyone is headed.

Gar - Hefts himself up over the wall, making use of growing vines, and cracks in the wall, for finger and toe holds that few others could do.  With the help of obscuring mist he's in place without a problem... though everything is foggy at the moment, and he's having a little bit of trouble judging who is where to attack from this point means he needs to leap into the fray, and not being able to see where he's landing is going to be troublesome.  Gar has Concealment from the Obscuring Mist, but it goes both ways, and everyone you might leap/charge upon, also has concealment.

Maybelle - Your position was updated to where you wanted to start H-2, per message #9.  I'm going to presume you want to come down 'south' to end in H-8 (?)  As Maybelle jog along south, she notices the obscuring mist Flutterdew is making.  Gar is entering the mist, and she can just make his obscured figure climbing up and onto the short building beside him.  As he moves deeper into the Mist, she loses track of him.

Nisor - walks along at a patient pace, really there was no reason to rush into the maws of death was there?  He works a little spell to help things along (You may cast Mage Armor during the prep phase, allowing you to move, or cast a different spell, for your surprise phase action.).

Victoria makes and effort to stand and recover some of her wounded dignity.  Her effort needs to be worked on, the sudden effort seems to go straight to her head, and she's pretty close to a swoon, as the sky seems to spin dizzily.

Human O-5 ~ Eyes wide he watching Andrew bare down on him, his eyes flick to the sharp claws on his hands and realize these might be the last moments of his life.  He makes a cry of alarm that was suppose to be a cry along the lines of, 'Help, SOMEONE HELP ME!', but it comes out more along the lines of  "GAH~!".  This target is wearing leather armor, and small wooden shield (AC 13).  He has (7) Hit Points.  He is armed with Spear and Dagger.

Human Q-4 ~ At the alarmed cry of his companion, this man starts to turn around to see what the commotion is.  Distracted by the spectacle before him, he almost doesn't notice the shadow that seems to be blotting out the afternoon son decending upon him.  He has the sense at the last moment to look up, and perhaps half an instant to wonder what was happening, then... he stops wondering.  His headless body flopping over obediently before the tombstone that was just planted to mark his final resting place.

The rest of the Humans seem to have been alerted that something was amiss.

The cry of alarm, A headless body flopping over, the magical fog creeping forth from the west.  Really, you'd have to be a clueless idiot to miss all the signs that you were under attack.

The argument/debate over Victoria's appearance seems to have stopped.  In the face of their mortal end rushing towards them, more important things were around to consider.  The ugly human near the cultist (S-13) seems to be yelling orders out to snap the rest of the humans out of their stunned shock and into some sort of organized defense.

Initiative DC 14

All players make an inititiative Roll, if you roll 14 or better, you may act against on turn one before the Humans go.  If you fail, you will have to wait till after the humans go before acting.  You however are allowed to make dialogue, and comments.  You just have no actions.

"Guess you got a point there 'belle," Brigitte agreed as she strode off to join the fight. Her long legs carried her quickly to the South. Having softened up the left flank, it seemed like a good idea to shore up the right and sweep into the humans that way. She hoped Andrew could handle himself with two.

Once she'd moved on down, she planted her feet and dropped into a battle stance, ready to greet anyone who came close. She smiled at the three men just south of the mist and gave a little wave. "Hey boys. Wanna dance?"

Double move to G12, draw large great axe as part of her move. Swift action somewhere in there to activate her cloak to grant herself benefits of a shield spell for 1 minute. (+4 shield bonus to AC, immunity to magic missile)

Should I pre-roll attacks of opportunity? Or do you roll those for me? I have no problem if you roll them for me.

No do not pre roll them, i dont want to know the results, since that might influence my actions.  If you get attacks of opportunity, you'll get them after i declare the intentions for humans.  The humans will move in, you take your attacks if that's the case and then if they survive they'll do what they do.

Surprise Phase Resolution.

Sister Daubra was uncharacteristically quick on her feet today and dropped into a familiar square stance low wide and a stable with her back to the mausoleum. With a strong snap she shifted into bow stance facing south and she pressed her hands into the mausoleum and shoved the solid stone like putty in her hands. She sent bars of solid stone to connect with the next mausoleum and climbed the gaps she'd left behind like a ladder to get to the relative safety of the roof.

Standard action: using Stone Shape
Move action: moving

Stone shape: to create about 9x 3"-diameter 20-ft stone bars to connect with the next mausoleum. This should space them about a foot apart which won't be hard to climb but it should at least slow anyone coming that way down.

Moving: to J-6 She took the -5 for accelerated climbing, and climbing a ladder is DC 0 so she made it with or without taking 10 being allowed from her position of relative safety.

As Daubra shapes the stone sideways north, the passage between I4~J4 and I5~J5 quick becomes barred, stone is displaced before her, creating an opening into the building at I6~J6.

She has her hand on the bars ladder ready to climb up to the roof, when she notices something.

Daubra has already used a standard action to Stone Shape, she has a movement left which she can use to still get to the roof, or change directions based on the information she has.

"Watch out Andrew, thare're more inside." She climbed up anyways.

You're talking about like thin cracks or window slits at I6=J6 right? Wasn't intending to open a door there. 3" out of every 12" should means even if the walls are a surprising thin, like 3" there should be a 9" stone slab every 12" blocking the way. Making it mostly wall. Also, Brigette probably should NOT jump up and down on it. Apparently google thinks 6-8" is normal but older, cheaper, eroded by the years, maybe missing a chuck somewhere. Window seem plausible.

Turn One Player Phase.

Andrew finds that the human is not without some skill.  He manages to sidestep his initial charge (from ambush) which only serves to infuriate Andrew more.  His backhanded rake catches the man across the face and neck.  Blood starts to gush out readily as a major artery is cut.  The man drops his spear and paws at the wound trying to stem the bleeding, but it's too little too last as he drops to his knees and flops forward face down.  Passed out from blood loss, he'll bleed out long before anyone can get to him.

He notices that Flutterdew's Obscuring mist is providing him with some cover, so he makes use of it.  Moving forward (to P6) he prepares to dispatch the last of the three humans in the area.  They were so squishy, really it was a wonder that they were a threat to the Misty Valley.  From behind him, he hears Daubra yelling some comment or warning but about what, he wasn't sure.  After he got rid of this last thug, he would give it more thought, for the moment, he needed to focus on obliterating this human from his presence.

Brigitte
in the mean time has little doubt that Andrew can handle himself, and really if he couldnt what was the worse that would happen?  They would tickle him with those toys.  Speaking of which, Brigitte had sighted a bunch of humans south of their position.  Maybelle was headed there, but really, she was a little small for the job.  Now Brigitte, she was the perfect size.  The humans were small... The humans were squishy.  It was their finest quality next to how tasty they were.

Brigitte jogs down to G12, getting her Great Axe ready to whack some humans as she goes.

Daubra is barring the path between the two mausoleums, making a ladder for herself as she does.  She notices movement in the masoleum and calls out a warning to Andrew hoping he heard her.  She makes it to the top of the roof and finds Flutterdew's obscuring mist covering much of her vision to the South East.

Victoria starts to feel better, at least enough to stand... maybe.  She still feels terrible but the sense of Virago is at least receding.  Let me know if Victoria understand German.  I dont believe she does.

NW Sentries
With two of his companions killed in the span of a breath, the last sentry is torn between turning his back on Andrew and fleeing, or standing his ground and facing near certain death.  He however notices what Andrew does not, a swirl of movement behind Andrew, so he stands his ground and hopes for the best.  He bides his time for a moment, just long enough for Andrew to sense he's been flanked, and then the sentry lunges with his spear.  It's a brilliant lunge, maybe the best he's ever made, it's amazing what desperation can do for motivation.

Behind Andrew, seeing the violent motions of shadows bluring past him and the cries of men dying, the Rogue that was hiding in the Mausoleum makes his move and comes out behind Andrew.  Dagger in hand, he moves in to flank the furry warrior.  The moment of confusion is priceless to the Rogue who lunges forward to try and skewer the Werewolf between him and the sentry.

Hurl Spears at Brigitte.

Dagger Attack +4 (+2 weapon finese +2 Flank Bonus) / Damage d4 +Sneak Attack d6

Andrew is now at 13 of 20 hit points

Mean while...

Further south, the sentries are confronted by a Frost Giant.  There is a long moment of hesistation as they consider if they should rush her.

"F--k that."  Yell sentry (K-13).  He wasn't being paid enough coin to rush that.

With that he hurls his spear at Brigitte and quickly retreats east, drawing his dagger as he goes.  The remaining sentries look at one another and almost immediately in silent agreement, hurl their spears and beat a quick retreat East after the other sentry.

21:59, Today: Fate rolled 14,5 using d20+2,d8+1.  Attack Brigitte. (Miss)
21:59, Today: Fate rolled 3,4 using d20+2,d8+1.  Attack Brigitte.  (Miss)
21:59, Today: Fate rolled 19,4 using d20+2,d8+1.  Attack Brigitte. (Hit)

Brigitte takes 4 Damage

The first couple of spears deflect off her shield and the other doesnt come anywhere near her.  Last comes in off an angle odd enough to avoid the spear, and catches her in the thigh doing some bleeding.  She watches as the cowardly humans flee into the mist.

Victoria seems to be caught between a lively discussion over... her?

The big guy seems to be directing and organizing a defense.  We're they being attacked?  Was it over her?  It was hard to tell.  He seems to be directing his archers to help deal with the Giant, and is waving the East Sentries over towards the wolf guy.

Wolf Guy!  Definitely she was under attack.  She fumbles around trying to reach her Rapier or Aeron's flintlock but the grips that were holding her up she realizes were also restraining her.  Were they being helpful or possessive, it was hard to say.

Some of the humans make and effort to deal with the wolf and giant, others are still arguing over Victoria.  As things seem to go from bad to worse, two of the guys take her by the arm each and lift her off the ground and start to carry her off literally SE.

The Guy giving orders is having none of that and blocks their departure.

Mae couldn't see a thing to the east through the mist, Brigitte with her much longer stride had passed her, and most especially the humans she had been aiming at had run. Darn it. She considered drawing her Machete just in case but honestly she always felt awkward using that thing for anything besides foliage. Unable to think of what else to do she just moved forward quickly, absently drawing a dagger off her belt as she went. She had a decent throwing arm if push came to shove.

Victoria was truly not sure what was going on. The dog creature was scary, it was true. And she wasn't sure who was helping and who wished her harm. However, she had been gently reared, and part of that included not being manhandled. And being held, carried and argued over did not sit well with her at all.

So she pushed at the arms and kicked back with her feet as hard as she could. If she could get something free, then maybe she could do something,

"Let go of me and put me down!" she demanded. "Let me go!"

Nisor had wanted to stay out of the fray, but perhaps not <I>this far out of the fray. He wasn't going to be of use in this fight if he didn't get closer. Then at least he could let off an attack or two.

Hustling as much as he could he moved to place himself in a more advantageous place.

Nisor moves from G2 to I7.

Well advantageous was subjective. The mist was pulling double duty as far as helping and hindering. He could hear combat on the other side of the mausoleum but that was about all. Perhaps moving around the mist would allow him to get the drop on someone. Good a plan as any.

Nisor uses standard action to move to I13
