Introduction (Read First)
To fight giants, you must be giant
Giants have emerged from their strongholds to threaten civilization as never before. Hill giants are stealing all the grain and livestock they can, while stone giants have been scouring settlements that have been around forever. Fire giants are press-ganging the small folk into the desert, while frost giant longships have been pillaging along the Sword Coast. Even the elusive cloud giants have been witnessed, their wondrous floating cities appearing above Waterdeep and Baldur’s Gate. Where is the storm giant King Hekaton, who is tasked with keeping order among the giants?
The humans, dwarves, elves, and other small folk of the Sword Coast will be crushed underfoot by the onslaught of these giant foes. The only chance at survival is for the small folk to work together to investigate this invasion and harness the power of rune magic, the giants’ weapon against their ancient enemies, the dragons. The only way the people of Faerun can restore order is to use the giants’ own power against them.

As I DM I enjoy good RP and quirky characters but have gotten rather jaded of long backstories and three paragraph speeches every other post. So while there will be opportunities to interact with NPCs and party members and the like, take note that I can and will push things forward if things seem to be slowing down.
Familiarity with the Faerun setting is helpful but not required. But do indicate your degree of knowledge about the setting in your application - I will endeavor to explain things more if more players are not familiar. Being unfamiliar will not hurt your RTJ, but not indicating your degree of familiarity would suggest that you don't actually read through my walls of text.
I aim to have a posting schedule of at least 1 post a day as follows (GMT +8 timezone):
Monday - 2200pm (GMT +8)
Tuesday - 2200pm (GMT +8)
Wednesday - break
Thursday - 2200pm (GMT +8)
Friday - break
Saturday - 2200pm (GMT +8)
Sunday - 2100pm (GMT +8)
These are the timings I am most likely to be online and actively posting. Ideally, we will be able to coordinate timings so everyone is online and posting within a few minutes of each other. Otherwise, these are the timings you can expect a response by.
Schedule under revision. To-be-updated.
