Hope all ya'll are safe.  I know Decker's player is potentially evacuating due to the California fires... and the air in my area is almost toxic from the smoke.

Cali's nuts at the moment from all the fires...and this time it seems almost all of them are lightening caused, unlike usual..

Don't seem to be going anywhere at the moment, but we're semi-prepped and paying attention.

Fortunately for me this year it's not a wind driven event. That's mostly why the fire threatened the cities and towns that are relatively in the clear. These fires were started by lightning strikes in deep old dry lumber and that's what the fire is following. The fuel where I am is relatively thin, so with no wind to push it in our direction....

As long as it's not attracted to hot air, you'll be fine. ;)

Sorry gang, RPOL has been offline for me for 48 hours or so... finally back... we'll see how long it lasts!

Although if I do get the boot (or even if just a warning and things look dodgy) there's a good chance I'll end up somewhere near you. Seems to still be plenty of hotel space in South San Francisco (with all the lack of flying) and prices are reasonable.

I went in to work today but only lasted about 2 1/2 hours before I had to go home.  :(
