Okay, im not that focused in FR. Do you have any good reading from any books that could help me with this?

There are lots of books none specifically about Lantan. Ide just google Forgotten Realms and Lantan and read what you can.

Im really trying to get two other players before we start. The Adventure is written and ready to go but with out 4 players it just wont work.

Good evening, gentlefolk.  Please allow me to introduce academician Garath Darkstar, recently arrived from Phlan on a trade fleet, and hailing originally from Cormyr.

What do we have so far?

Im an elf fighter, what are you guys? also what are we expecting Raconteur?

Garath is a human by birth, and a conjurer by vocation.

Scout by chose, thiefling by whim of destiny.

Close, suport and ranged any strategy here? I can do middle range attacks or close cuartes combat. But if surrounded it could get ugly.

Could throw a glove of darkness behind you so they cant flank you that easy with me at the side? What do you know od the play? after all this questions come from something right?

Haha, no I do not. But you are already in character if not, you are one at heart.

Ok I'm going to post some basic rules for posting soon and also get the game started. Our first adventure will be and exciting one with strange creatures and loads of interesting treasure.

Does the character action should be in a private line to the all powerful DM?

No is does not have to be a private line, it should be in red and in the format shown int he Rules and Regulations Thread. See example.

I wanted to ask: We cant post before someone higher in the initiative chain? Dont you think is can slow things up a bit?

Not at all, in all actuality is speed things up. I run quite a few games here on RPOL and this is a tried and true method.

For example if one person goes out of initiative order and then a person before him does something to effect the action of the person that went after him it could take days to fix the situation.

Also something I failed to mention is that you only get 24 hours in combat to post your action. So you get 24 hours from the previous persons post to take your action before I NPC your characters action.

I will take your word on that. Se how it works. :)
