OOC: Let's see if I can get this out before I have to go to work...
And I'll start out by backing in Pug's action from last round.
Pug's flashing blades wove a deadly net of steel in front of the serpent, but unfortunately it was more flash than deadly this time.
Rand's thin blade only struck his foe as its attention was diverted by one of Pug's showier flourishes, and punctured the meaty flesh of the serpent's arm.
OOC: You needed the flanking bonus. It's a good thing you added it.
Chillreaver swept down, but merely grazed the serpent's scales, causing no visible harm.
Hemmel's flames likewise strike against the armed serpent, but the licking flames cause no visible injury, not even soot stains on his scales.
OOC: No worries, we all forget things from time to time, like the Spell Resistance I've been forgetting.... Got it this time though.
07:15, Today: DM Jim, on behalf of Hemmel rolled 15 using 1d20+4. Caster Level check for SR.
The serpent seemed to go berserk with all of the new attacks whizzing in its direction, and lashed out viciously at the target nearest to it, which was Grom. Twice the slashing blade bit through the dwarf's defenses.
<orange>07:21, Today: DM Jim rolled 16 using 1d20+10. Attacking Grom - full attack.
07:21, Today: DM Jim rolled 22 using 1d20+5. Attacking Grom - full attack.
07:23, Today: DM Jim rolled 10 using 2d6+4. Two attack damage.
OOC: Pug, you're still a round behind by my count. If you'll send me two actions, I'll get each one in its place and get you caught up.
Grom's blade bit deep, and the serpent started to glance around as though seeking an escape.
OOC: You sure about that move? F4 will put you out of reach, and/but you'll still draw an AoO as you move.
OOC: Initiatives remain
