Battle 2 was against a Yuanti Holy Guardian.  I think the CR is 8.

 hmm, zombies?, the first battle we had was at healers camp, when rand and Ynvaar showed up and i was introduced to the plot.
 Iam thinking that was a big undead dino along with some handlers, then the next was from a feeding group of velociraptors on the trail, then the next one i can remember was at the snake pit (Yuan-ti).

Remember the 'zombie checkpoint':

Ynvaar took a very Tempuran attitude toward it.  ie- it wasn't a very long fight :-)

Ahh, yes.  Thanks. It's been a while since I read Serpent Kingdoms, though I'm working my way through it again for this game. ;-)

Also, after a read through on the stuff around the Holy Guardian, I'd be willing to bet the first pair were Tren rather than trogs...  OK.  Since it looks like some of you have already added in the first batch of xp, I'm going to post this as a difference between what I posted first, and what they should have been.

Battle 1: addition for changing from 2 trogs to 2 tren.
Hemmel, Pug, Grom - an additional 240 xp each
Rand - an additional 200 xp
Ynvaar - an additional 180 xp

Battle 2: Additional xp for the change to a Holy Guardian.
Hemmel, Pug, Grom - 720 each
Rand - 640 xp
Ynvaar - 600 xp

If that's as fast as you handle a CR8 critter though, I may need to rethink some of my plans...

And the zombie checkpoint seems to be the last of the unawarded xp that needs to be put out.  Let's fix that. :-)

The last lot of XP's was enough for pug to level up. Is it ok with you once where out of this "Dungeon" and rested up to up pugs level or would you rather pug waited.

Well, the official answer is that you wait until you rest, but since I'm a little worried about what's going to happen in this next encounter if I play it the way it needs to be played, I'm going to say go ahead and do it now.  Then I can relax and won't have to hold my breath quite so long. ;-)

That also goes for Hemmel.  I'd said before to wait until the end of the combat going at the time.  That time is now.  Sing out if you have any questions.

Those that prepare spells can't prepare to fill the new slots until they rest though.

Ynvaar, I think I've been shorting you on xp.  For some reason I had you already at Level 6 in my notes.  I may take the time to go back and refigure, though more likely, if you don't object, I'll just eyeball it and fudge in a number.

Ynvaar, it looks like the combat xp awards between L5 & L6 bounce back and forth between 11% and 25%.  Since I appear to have awarded you a fuzz over 2000 combat xp, I'll split the difference between the two ends.  Add in another 350 xp.

I'm not perfect.  If any of you ever have questions about your xp, feel free to ask, and when I'm wrong, I'll be glad to correct things.

Grom, at the base of the posting xp awards is an attempt to award full xp for those that match the RoA spec of 3 posts per week, plus a small bonus amount for those who write strongly descriptive posts, or posts that clearly showcase some part of the character's personality.  There is an exception for any weeks where I don't meet the posting minimum with a timely spread between my posts, in which case all of you will be awarded that week's max.  I don't see why you should be penalized when I have problems.

If you want a fully detailed description and a list of my counts, just yell.  If you just want general advice, all I can suggest is 'post more'. :-)

To avoid clutter here though, if we need to continue this discussion, let's pick it up in the OOC thread.

I'm going to post your combat xp as well.  In a departure from my standard practice, I'm also going to include a PL to each of you with what I'm showing for your current total.  If you have something different than I have for your total, PM me and we'll go through things until we agree.

If I remember right, there's a discussion of my normal posting xp process somewhere up this thread.  I'm having too much trouble getting rpol to behave tonight to go look for it though.  I'm just hoping this goes through...  I do want to point out that posting xp are adjusted for level as well.

I haven't been doing a very good job on this part either.  Mea culpa.

Total xp 800 each.  This includes 150 per month posting xp for September through December, and a 200 xp Christmas bonus.

450 xp each for the combat with the kuro.  I didn't include Rand in the split, since he was pretty well gone for the whole thing.

750 xp each for posting and patience for January through March.
