For out-of-character chatter...

We have five characters and will probably be adding a sixth soon, once I am able to make a decision on who gets that last spot.

You should all have editing privileges on your Character Details page; if not, let me know. Also, if you need a character sheet template, let me know as well. Otherwise, I don't mind what template you use, as long as it is complete and easy to read.

For character creation, use the 27-point-buy method for generating your Ability Scores. Don't roll for starting gold but take the equipment provided by your class and background. And feel free to sell (at full price) anything you don't want.

Send me a private message when you get your sheet done and I'll look it over. Once everyone is done, we'll get started.

Can we use the gold that comes from most backgrounds to buy addional items? Same for the gold that is possibly gotten from selling some of the items from background?

Nice to meet you all, I'll be running the harmless mascot of a Wizard, casting spells to...  Throw stuff on the ground and hope nobody comes swinging I guess?

Hello. I'll be playing Isolde Glibhammer, Shield-Maiden of the Mithral Hall (mountain dwarf fighter).

I'm the resident rogue.

Exited to get started. I don't know how the module is going to start, but if someone wants to have met before the adventure, I'm open to connections. Inanah has spent most of her time in or around Waterdeep.

The characters will start the story just outside of Greenest around sunset. They can be together already (perhaps guarding a caravan, etc.) or traveling individually. Once they arrive in Greenest, they will all come together as a group rather quickly.

Guarding a caravan fits my guy well as an excuse to travel to Greenest.

N'Rell wouldn't have a problem joining on as a caravan guard in order to get to Greenest.

All I have left is to finalize equipment. Otherwise, I'm pretty much done.

Caravan guarding would be something Inanah would work on, too. So well met, partners.

I could see Isolde traveling with a caravan out of convenience, but probably not as a hired guard. Not that she wouldn't lend protection to the company, if a threat arises. Also, I'm just fine with having arrived separately from the others.

Hasan probably wouldn't be guarding a caravan as a paid job, but he could very easily be traveling along with one.

The game thread is up. You should have access to it once your character sheet is approved.

If your character is not traveling into Greenest on the road, s/he can meet up with the others once they get into town. There will be an encounter in town once everyone arrives. Be sure to let me know if your character is already in town, so I know not to wait for you.

Oh, we don't have to be with the caravan? I was agreeing to it assuming we had to be arriving the same way. In that case, I would rather have a different entrance.
