We've been instructed to work from home, so I'll be available as usual.

Stay healthy, everyone!

Re: OOC

Hi guys apologies for the lack of posts I've been trying to get a critical care unit I designed up and operational so that we can hand over 64 beds to the hospital in readiness for the virus spike.

Will try to post this evening

Re: OOC

No need to apologize for real world heroes, at least from my point of view, keep up the good work, it has priority! :)

Re: OOC

GM, does the kobold chamber have any other exit than the one we used. There was no mention of one in the original description of the room, which is why I though it would be good place for a rest.

If there are other entrances, please tell and I edit my next post accordingly.

Re: OOC

There is only one entrance/exit to the kobold cavern. However, the entrance is about 15 feet wide. And there are two tunnels leading to the entrance: the one you all came through and one with stairs leading up.

Re: OOC

What room do you intend to rest in? Inanah suggested backtracking to one of the previous rooms, but others seem to be expecting to rest in the kobold room.

Re: OOC

I think we are only backtracking to drag the dead bodies (half dragon, cleric, two guards) back to the kobold camp and rest in the kobold camp.

A rest would be quite useful. I don't care where we do it.

Re: OOC

I'm fine to do it in any, it's a slim chance we get to take the rest uninterrupted anyway.

GM, Inanah is investigating the room and corpses, make any appropriate roll for me, please.

Re: OOC

I need someone to decide where you're going to rest. And I need to know if you're going to be moving any bodies or anything else around and/or searching any other rooms.

Re: OOC

I'll stick with my most recent in-character post. Isolde goes to drag the bodies of the half-dragon and the three others back to the kobold cave, where the party takes a short rest.

Re: OOC

It's as good place as any.

Inanah would take some of the bedding from the kobold room and use it to mop up some of the blood in the temple room where we killed the half dragon, to cover little of out tracks.

If Isolde helped, she would also want to carry the small chest to the kobold chamber, so she could fiddle with the lock again.

And she would take a quick look at the other entrances around, while others rested, she doesn't need to rest.

Re: OOC

Okay. Isolde, are you going to help Inanah retrieve the chest?

I'm assuming that Hasan, Aisha, and Talik will be resting.

Re: OOC

In reply to Dungeon Master (msg # 533):

If the chest is small enough to carry on her own (with 10 STR), then she would do it, no need for getting help.

Yes, I'll help with the chest.

And Isolde could use a short rest herself, if we have the time.

I know Talik is very busy right now but I have been talking to him in private messages, so I know he's still around. Hopefully, he'll be able to post something in the game thread soon.

Re: OOC

Hi all

Just wanted to thank you all for being patient with me and my lack of posting.

With what's happening in the world I've been extremely busy. I design hospitals and specialise in intensive care units

These last few weeks have been challenging trying to get one 64 bed unit up and running and handed over to the NHS.

That happened on Friday now I'm involved in turning containers into isolation units for testing activities.

Unfortunately I'm also involved in the quick design and construction of temporary morgues that can be erected quickly if needed.

It's not something I'd ever thought I'd  have to design and my colleagues and I are finding some parts of it difficult at times.

I'm hoping that things will settle down a bit by the Easter weekend but I'll try to catch up and post when I can.

Please keep safe and well

Jason

I don’t have any sense for relative positions of the party or the geography of the cavern. Can you give us some more details with distances and   Positions?

Re: OOC

Aisha, shield wouldn't have protected you against these attacks, as it boosts your AC, not your Dexterity Saves.

It is 60 feet from the main stairs to the lower section whence the attacks came. The caged stairs leading down to the lower section with the eggs are located right in the middle, so about 30 feet from either end of the cavern. Does that help some?
