Load LimitsEncumbrance:: Encumbrance Notes
LoadRangePenaltyMostly, you won't need to worry about Encumbrance. Occasionally it may become dramatically
Unencumbered(Pounds) important to know this weight—like during a chase or when trying to lug a wounded comrade
dSTR x50 to 30---away from a firefight! You can carry 5 times your Strength die type in pounds without penalty.
Light  This is your "Unencumbered Load Limit". Ex: you have a Strength of d8, so you can comfortably
(dSTR x5)x231 to 60-1carry 40 pounds (ignore normal clothes being worn when figuring encumbrance weight). Carrying
Medium  too much weight inflicts a –1 penalty for each additional multiple of your Unencumbered Load
(dSTR x5)x361 to 90-2Limit, which applies to all Agility & Strength totals, as well as skills linked to either of those two
Heavy  attributes. For example, if you had a d8 Strength, you'd have an Unencumbered Load Limit of 40
(dSTR x5)x491 to 120-3pounds or less. You could carry a Light Load of 41-80 pounds at a –1 penalty to your Strength,
   Agility, & related skill rolls. You could also carry a Medium Load of 81-120 pounds at a –2 penalty
Max Lift  or a Heavy Load of 121-160 pounds at a –3 penalty. You can't regularly carry weight that
(dSTR x5)x5.5165-4imposes a penalty of more than –3 and still walk around. You might be able to simply lift greater
   weights (up to a –4 penalty) up off the ground and move around for maybe a few short steps—
   but only at the discretion of the GM.

The GM gives out 1-3 XP now and then. Put an "X" in a box above for | [01][02][03]
