Here I will post details that apply to the whole world that at all players need to know.  I will comment if players are also aware of these details.

Let's start at the top.  Gods.
There are 1st and 2nd tier gods.  1st teir are the ones that have been in this reality the longest.  For that reason, they are more widely worshipped, so in every instance, they have more power than gods of the 2nd tier of the same power level.  For example, Kane, a greater god, has more raw power than Zeus.

PCs may choose any god of either tier as a patron but any not of the 1st tier are not native the the area where play is starting, so an explanation of why they are there needs to be in the background.

I'll cover 1st tier below.  In addition to 1st tier.
The Greek pantheon exists in its entirety.  Although their power is diminished because of imprisonment, the greater titans can be patrons as well.  Mortals who worship any of these gods are aware of the titan war and the ascension of the gods.

Of the Norse pantheon, only Odin and Thor exist in this realm.  Thor is 1st tier.  Odin is 2nd.  No mortal has any concept of Ragnorak.  Both dieties arrived from a separate reality, having already experienced Ragnorak.

Of the Egyptian pantheon, most of the gods have moved on.  Only Isis, Osirus, Set, and Thoth remain (theoretically Ptah could return whenever he wished, but so far, has not.)  Set and Thoth are 1st tier.

Of the Japanese mythos, Amaterasu and Oh-Kuni-Nushi survived a disaster in their home realm too.

The Babylonian, Ishtar, arrived alone from another realm but has never spoke of how or why.

All of the non-human dieties are available, but none are of the 1st tier.

Most 1st tier are native to this reality.  Some managed to get enough worshipers to become 1st tier after their arrival.   The 1st tier gods are as follows:

Straun         CN         Master of Water.  All rivers, streams, currents and bodies
    of liquid belong to him.
