Re: OOC Chat

I believe the damage he originally marked off was actually halved by his Defend move.

I've got no reason to say no.  Maybe in a future campaign I'll bother to check the rules more closely, but for now you're good.

And when it ends, the area around you is bathed in an eerie darkness that is distinctly darker than the regular night, and is outlined by a thin orange ring that dances like flame, though there is only light there and no heat.

What is outlined by the orange ring? The land, or the owl?

Sorry - the land, specifically the area that is magically darkened

Re: OOC Chat

That's good enough to at least kind of get what you want.  Since Istvan suggested a different tactic, do you want to follow his idea, stick with keeping the owl in place, or something else?

Lucius, do as you want with that owl, but know that OOC I won't take it personally if it is pushed toward Lazarus.

I'll say the same. It wouldn't have occurred to me to take it personally, even (if Lazarus hadn't put the idea into my head just now). I would've thought "we all know that clerics are tougher than mages." (Especially since I often feel like Lazarus, especially, is magical nitro, capable of who-knows-what if accidentally jostled.)

FYI, I plan on waiting to post until I see what action Lucius takes. Because it could greatly affect what Lazarus does.

Re: OOC Chat

After considering it for a while, I think Lucius would direct the owl at Istvan, since it was his idea. sorry not sorry

GM, seems to me like the best thing for Istvan to do is roll Dex to try to get clear before it's too late?

Re: OOC Chat

Sure, go for it.  That takes up your action for this round, but if you want to try to combine it with something else you might be able to get away with it.

I don't think Istvan has any bright ideas... except that maybe we should get the heck out of this eclipse area before this thing goes?

Of course, Istvan doesn't know what you guys experienced on The Other Side.

Anything that would make it clear what we should or shouldn't do now, don't suppose?

Acording to my sheet, I hadn't gained any XP since June 22, 2021. That is waaay longer than I would have guessed. I must have been on a dice roller hot streak.

GM what kind of recognizable thing Vorn has on them?

I briefly thought about the head, but it's slightly too gruesome lol.

Re: OOC Chat

Yeah, you found that there was a separate section which seemed to be downstairs from the area you checked out before, based on having found a small window from the outside when you were snooping around.
