Session 2
It is just after sundown, with the last strip of orange light still clinging to the horizon. The stars are starting to show themselves, and a half moon has begun its ascent. A weak light is also cast by the last embers of the wooden structure that, until very recently, had stood in front of the abandoned mine.
Some groaning and stirring. At least one friend is ready to talk, whether he knows it or not.
So how many lives did you spare, anyway? And have you taken any precautions to keep them cooperative?
And for that matter, have you taken any precautions for your own safety, being out here in the wilderness at night?
