Session 2

It is just after sundown, with the last strip of orange light still clinging to the horizon.  The stars are starting to show themselves, and a half moon has begun its ascent.  A weak light is also cast by the last embers of the wooden structure that, until very recently, had stood in front of the abandoned mine.

Some groaning and stirring.  At least one friend is ready to talk, whether he knows it or not.

So how many lives did you spare, anyway?  And have you taken any precautions to keep them cooperative?

And for that matter, have you taken any precautions for your own safety, being out here in the wilderness at night?

Session 2

After their group had been victorious, Lazarus made sure to disarm their enemies of all weapons, tools, and any other gear other than basic clothing. He put it into a pile to divvy up later between himself and his friends. Then, if he could find rope, he moved to tie up everyone nice and tight. Wrists behind backs and ankles crisscrossed. He would even use belts and such if ropes were nowhere to be found.

"Now what?" Lazarus asked after everyone had been well secured. "Think they will answer our questions?" he asked, looking mostly toward Lucius. "Think their oxen will cooperate with us and help carry these guys back to the village?" He looked toward Thistle for that question.

"At any rate, I think it would be smart to rest up before we head out. So long as no crawlies decide to come out of the cave." He pointed his dagger toward the smoldering wreckage that used to be the mine entrance.

What gear did Lazarus pull off of these guys?
