That must have made you very happy.  :o)

Just watching Game of Thrones one evening each week is about enough of a fix for me, although we have been watching a few other things as well lately. We went and saw Avengers last weekend, which was cool. Sort of made the world feel right again somehow. ;o)

Me too :)

As a huge fan of Captain America I was frozen in awe while he went toe to toe with Thanos wielding his shield and Mjolnir. When he returned the stones and then allowed himself to have a happy life with his true love, I thought that was the perfect ending to Caps story.

I've been going each Monday to either my friend Tim or my friend Zoe's houses, having dinner and watching the latest episodes - it has been really lovely especially since its set at those six nights, no more, no less, simple. I've cooked for Tim one night and bought pizza for Zoe and me another night, it's been nice. Here I've got them and the Pollemans, when I come back to Perth I'll hang out with Swaen, Greenie, Morgan or Sim (my mates) or Uncle Tony's mob or you and Mum. You guys all make it easy to remember how blessed my life is :)

Just came across a wicked little quote:
"I say we bury him in pink bunny ears, make him easier to find in the afterlife so we can kick his ass all over again."

G'day Dad,

how are you? I'll be coming to Perth for Supanova (nerd convention) so there's some details I'd like to hammer out. From the 21st of June to the 1st of July would it be alright for me to stay at your house? Saturday/Sunday 22nd/23rd would you like to go to Narrogin? If yes would you like to stay over night or go one morning and head back in the afternoon? Might Megan or Mum want to come? (I haven't contacted Grandma yet so of course any plans would need her blessing.) And if none of this works for you there are quite a few places I can stay, it's no inconvenience for me and I would be mortified if I caused any inconvenience for you and Mum!

Hi Jase,

No problem for you to stay here during that period. You are always welcome. We both look forward to it.

Your mum did mention to me about going to Narrogin with you and that would be great. I would be happy to stay overnight. It will just depend what works for everyone else - well, just Grandma really. Mum's working next weekend. Meg has netball on Saturday afternoons, she has marking to do and reports to write and Seb is back this Tuesday from a conference in Houston, so I expect she wouldn't be coming with us.

You can give Grandma a call to let her know we'll be coming and check if we should plan for a one day or two day trip.

Cheers,

Dad

Fantastic, I'll call her tomorrow evening after work :)

I've had a thunk, can you please create a character profile for me called "Jason White"?

Good evening Dad :) I've spoken with Grandma, she says she is very happy for us to come up lunch time on Saturday. She's keen for us to have dinner at the Duke, stay the night and she says that Aunty Cathy will be coming up Sunday for lunch which I reckon will be lovely.

I've only just noticed that it's fathers day - Happy Fathers Day! Hopefully I can take you out to dinner over the next week or so to thank you for being such an exceptional Dad :)

Excellent! We can lock that in for next weekend then. Remind me to take Carcassonne with us; Grandma loves that game. :o)

Fathers Day is celebrated on different days in different countries. Here in Aus it is on 1 September this year.

I like the idea though. As they say, the way to a man's heart is through his stomach!

Actually, I am amused by the different ways that saying could be interpreted, too.
  • Love of good food;
  • Cholesterol leading to a heart attack; or
  • A blade thrust up under the ribs!

Lol, my calendar is from the UK, however one day for Fathers isn't enough, I'm grateful for your efforts and will celebrate you 365 days a year :)

I believe all are true and I would not be disappointed by receiving any of them, I love my food, it might be better to pass enjoying life than to wither and fade and if its a wound that takes me let all my injuries by to my front, facing my foe, losing to superior skill. In these there is no shame, Valhalla awaits!

G'day g'day, assuming that the party has a little extra experience I'd like to spend a few days enchanting armor and creating wondrous items. We have 10719gps So I'd like them to use 2000gps each. Bull will enchant the full plate and shields, Ox will give Bulls gauntlets Ogre Power, Luc will make four cloaks of resistance +1 and Ricky will add +2 charisma to his hat.

Hi Jase, I'm going to be busy down at grandma's until Sunday rebuilding her front fence with Tony. I probably won't post anything more until Sunday night. Hopefully I will be able to Facetime you tomorrow night with Grandma.

Hi Jase,  we fly out this evening. I won't have the time or info needed to do the bandit camp battle while I am away, so we can pick where we left off in 3 weeks when I am back. See you then!

Allo allo,
I'm just reaching out through multiple media to let you know that I have safely made it to your castle and have looted your larder. Also, I will be in Perth the day of your triumphant return and will make sure to meet you at the airport. The itinerary I've found in your desk tray has you arriving at Terminal 1 on flight EK 420 at 17:20. I'll check on the day to see how your flight is travelling and will be there waiting for you :)
