Does Sal need sleep too? I know Point Break need to recharge... does he do so lying down, sitting, or standing? Does he need a full 8 hours?

It has been requested of me by the ST to award you all 40 XP and sufficient effective downtime to spend it. Be sure to send me a pm about how you spend your XP, and what is done in-game to spend it, it will help him catch up.

It is his hope to have all the real-world stuff sorted by February

Verified that XP is only given to the players. for Sal 2.0 to get xp you have to spend your xp.

 Alright, things seem to be calming down finally. Apologies for it taking a full week longer than I thought it would but beaurocracy moves slowly sometimes.

 I am tentatively back for now but, be warned, my posts may not be fully up to snuff. I am out of the worst of it but there is red tape that yet remains :P

 I'll be getting to your PMs, gonna go ahead and move things forward a touch, an then give it a week for everyone to check back in.

So, do vampires actually need sleep? I know they normally take penalties on actions taken during the daylight, and have difficulty staying awake, but it appears that when the sun sets, they go back to normal whether they sleep or not.

If not, Sal will remain awake in the security room, and Point Break will be recharging in there (in a cot if he cares at all about comfort.)

 Sal is in a unique position. He never actually needs sleep... but, failing to actually rest over a long period of time will thicken his blood (with all the bonuses and penalties that come along with it).

 Though with Sal's ability to consume nearly anything for sustenance, even that problem is only a minor one.

Do you only start acquiring Arcane XP once you are an Archmage or before then too?
