Cultists and Cabals (0.2.7)
Michael stopped when he heard that there may be an unseen predator inside. “I guess I’ll have to ask the Lord for his blessings then. Hopefully, he is in a generous mood today.” He knelt down and raised the cross around his neck to his forehead. “Lord you are all powerful and all knowing. You see all things as they really are where no lie escapes you. I please ask in your son’s name to provide us with the means to see what remains unseen.”Everything seems quiet at first.
After about almost a minute everyone feels as though something is lurking in the corner of their eye if only they could focus on it. Michael puts the cross back under his shirt and opens his eyes. He looks to the others and sees what he saw before. A glance at Fate told him all he needed to know about what she was. There was an obvious aura of magic around her. He had seen such an aura before during his Vigil. He smiles. “Everyone just focus your mind to your surroundings and you will be blessed with True Sight. This includes you Mage. Before you get all spell slingy, you’ll see I travel with others who are not human. I don’t care what you are as long as you don’t intend any ill will towards humans.”He looks at the bakery to see if any supernatural creatures, ghosts, or spirits are lurking around.

To answer a question about the ward, technically Mages are considered ‘mortal’ which means they are not themselves affected by the ward. I’m not so sure about their spells though.
