Noah gave Fate the same odd handshake he gave Michael. "It is a very nice place. People yelling about free education for years and now here it is, high-quality education as well. Anything you're looking for directly? May be able to cut your wait time down a tiny bit."

"I was hoping someone could fashion me a very special type of weapon. A blade that straps to the wrist and looks like a katar except the blade would be retractable and slightly smaller. It would need to have a silver blade and I'd need two of them if possible, one for each wrist. They would have to be sturdy as well. I wouldn't want to chance them breaking on me. I'd also need a pair of brass knuckles, if possible, as well." Fate spoke seriously and then she perked up and sounded chipper as she asked. "Do you know where I could find a good trench coat too?"

Noah smiled, "Vulcan is a great person to talk to about swords and replicas, the man has made more than a few Buster swords. However, he is a synth. Hidden blades are directly illegal and his programming will likely report you immediately." He smile grew wider, "Though there are ways to do it without going to a synth. There is a weapon in combat synths that is in their elbow. It is a hidden blade that can be extended and retracted with a thought. I just modified one recently for a client as well."

He pulled out his clear cell and started drawing on the slate. "If you use the tech version you have much much less weight to deal with and mental control of the weapon." He picked up a block of perfected iron, Siderite, and used it to prop up the cell. "If I can get you parts I can make a set for you. The only thing you would have to worry about is charging them."

Michael nodded in agreement as he looked at Fate. “Yes of course it’s illegal.” He looked back at Noah. “A pleasure to meet someone so willing and eager for such a challenge. I imagine such a work wouldn’t be cheap. Would the price get knocked down a bit if we provided some of the silver to craft it?”

Noah nodded but didn't look up from the sketch. When a Nerd is locked in they are really locked in. "Favors and gold are my normal coin of the realm. Is there anything you are really good at? Lots of really bad people around. Or you can give me odd curio objects. Hell, if you have something really interesting I can even have a nano weave trench coat made for you. But that you have to include a large can of coffee as a tip for that."

Henry scratched his chin. “I don’t believe the things I’m good at can be mentioned in public like this. Let’s just say I do well as a bodyguard. I don’t really have much gold on me. My usual bag is silver. I suppose if there is someone who would trade an equivalent amount of gold for cash, then there may be something to that. My services as a priest of course are free to all. I suppose I would have to ask what kind of favors you had in mind.”

"There are all kinds of priests in this world. Some cant hold true relics as it burns evil. And if you are a priest you would know the true potency of the devil." He held up the rosary. A rosary blessed by an angel of the throne of God. "The demon chasing rosary. If you can touch it as a priest, I'll take two boxes of true blessed bullets and I'll make her weapons. If you cant then you're demon possessed and then we have problems." He knew Fate was skilled and not much else.

"If you want a nanofibers trench coat. Well, if you pull parts for me from the local synth grave yards I need parts. Or if you have a few to sell I can manage that." He raised an eyebrow "I am sorry though. I thought you born to fang and claw. I can smell wolf from the moment you walked in. I apologize for the assumption. "

"A recent bad run in and thus why we're here." Fate looked away as the memory of being chomped on came to mind. A distant look of dread covered her face for a moment, then she shook her head and turned her attention back towards Noah.

Michael reached out and reverently touched the rosary beads. He may be human, but he could feel the spiritual power radiating from it. The priest pulled his hand away and reached behind him to gently run a fingertip along the sharp blade of the silver sword and showed the cut to Noah for him to see that it wasn’t sizzling. “Home grown human here. Got some friends with fangs and claws, but like she said there’s a few out there that don’t like us. One in particular is stronger than the others. So if you know about the things that go bump in the night, may I ask what you are?”

Noah smiled when the priest could touch the rosary without being burned. "Well, that means you're not demon infested." He pulled out a lead coin with a crown on one side. A relic remake of the Moros lead coin for Fate to see. "I am a monster but I associate with the free council of mages. Omni mage but I cut my teeth with the matter mages. Shepard of the Ark Cabal. Currently just about the only ones officially hunting demons and playing damage control for Talion."

"So if you're being attacked by big fangy things it may benefit to add that to the too do list. And makes sense you would want silver now."

"Tell you what. If you're willing to bring me the head of a corrupted fangy boy or a Nephandi I'll add that to the list of trade goods. A dead corrupted is a good corrupted in my book."

"Unless you care to share what you know now. Then we pay a visit to an electronic store and we can visit the Fabratory."

Michael shrugged. “Well we killed one yesterday. We could try to go back to where the body is, but no guarantee it’s still there. We did establish a colony of synths on the other side of town from the big graveyard there. A mythical being fixed all of the ones that were still alive. We armed them and got them into some housing.”

Noah smiled wide. "Thank you for taking care of them. It's rare people see them as living thinking beings. And they are without a doubt. If you like I can see to it they are evacuated to a safer home."

"As to the bodies, I would indeed like to see them but I would need my armor."

"A mythical being you say? There are only four I know of in the city. Would you like to elaborate? I'm sure the local Merlin would be interested as well." He picked up one of the black metal bars and offered the small but heavy thing to Michael. "If you're having a ... replica... weapon made have Vulcan use that. He wont finish it tonight but you cant find better metals. Call it a thanks for taking care of synths. It's easy to hate them right now with all the meta news."

Michael took the bar of metal. “Thanks. The graveyard in that area is no more because the divine being absorbed them and used the matter to heal the other Synths. She is really nice and loves cookies. She lives across the street from me if you want to meet her.”

Noah inclined his head. "It would be a pleasure.  Though dont let me stand in your way to get your weapon made. I've got all day."

"Though based on what you're saying I think I know her. Either little kid Titania or Grey. Both can love their sweets. But Grey is the recycler of the two. But Titania can use matter magic to a degree. So it's a coin toss."

Michael snaps his fingers at the realization. “That’s right! It was Grey. We’ve also figured out who it is that has been murdering and dumping Synths. I suspect those individuals were the wolves we ran across.”

"Grey is a synthetic being. She is half magical construct and half high tech nanomachines. And all adorable. I can honestly say there is no one in the world who wants the best for you more than she." He offered Michael a small slate of glass with a line on one side. It was about the best he could do to make that stark trek level data pads. "Mind setting a map pin on where you ran into the bad woojoo? If there are some bad wolves moving in we kinda need to kick them in the pants before too long."

"Dont need another rage storm."

Michael notes the location on the sheet of glass truly impressed by the level of technology this person seemed capable of. “Well that’s good to know. I should note that there is a rather large force of them. We were able to escape before the group of them discovered our presence. I would think hit and run tactics would be better instead of all out battle. We also know of a homeless shelter they have been partly operating out of.” He noted the homeless shelter on the map as well.

Noah shook his head. "Please start from the top and work your way down, getting some conflicts here. And I will make you a deal. Go with us to see about thinning their numbers and I will make you a sword with the perfected iron, put a silver edge on it. Give you both of the hidden blades, and a coat if we can smash any evil relics there."

Michael nodded. “Sounds good to me, but I do not require anymore weapons than what I already have. I appreciate the offer though. This trip was mainly for her.”

 After some extended time chatting, the students left their workstations after stowing their works in locked cabinets, leaving Vulcan to clean up the work area and giving the group some time to speak with him alone.

 Smithing wasn't a particularly sought-after profession outside of making replicas so there was only one class a day. Now that it was over, the group had Vulcan all to themselves.

Noah looked at Fate, "If you're good with all this Ill get the plans from Vulcan and we can head to the Fabratory after we go visit your synths? I hate to direct this as I am still a stranger to you. Otherwise, feel free to talk with Vulcan first. I know he can make some mean blades."

"It sounds like we have a deal. I'll follow your lead since you already know him. I'd be happy to help thin their numbers with you, but I'm afraid without what I mentioned I'm pretty well useless." Fate had a look of disappointment on her face as she spoke of her uselessness.

Noah inclined his head. "You'll have your gear before the days end." Really the whole reason he was here was to see if Vulcans forge was able to handle dragon fire. It took a lot of heat to make the weapons he needed to and he couldn't forge them until nightfall.

Annddd he got his answer. He would have to either make a new forge or upgrade Vulcan's forge. He did, however, leave Vulcan the NuSkin spray and a few patch chips to set him up for the memory back up system later.

He clapped once. "Well, that is a dead end for me. If you like we can go get the synths out of there as they are a huge target here in the city. From there a quick stop at a parts shop and I can make your blades fairly quick. If you let me know where it is I can get a friend headed that way."

“I marked the synth colony on your map. Hopefully they haven’t been attacked by the cult.”Michael looked at Fate to see if there was anything else she needed before they headed out.

"We'd better hurry there and find out." Fate agreed with the two of them.
