After hours of searching, Nefertiti finally found a suitable building for her needs. The sign on it said "Dressmaker's Credit Union" and it had largely escaped damage from the storm.

 There were partitions of wood and glass separating the main area from the back area with lost of space for storage. The front had been smashed in but there didn't seem to be anything of note inside for anyone to take.

Nefertiti looked around the area and took all that in while she moved up to the door to check to see if there was anyone inside of her new Haven.  Once she was sure that there was no one inside she then proceed to enter and be on guard for she did just have to fight some powerful wolf men.

This place looked to be a nice hide out for anyone.

If the door was locked she would move her hand over it to see if her Power was strong enough to open the lock.

As she stood in the doorway she was quick to activate her Heighten Senses to grant her the ability to see in any dark areas and also listening for any movements or heartbeats that one wouldn't surely hear normally.

 The door was locked but the windows were shattered. Still, her power was more than sufficient to open the door. A quick scout later revealed that the place had been completely abandoned before the storm had hit and had remained so.

This was all perfect for her, she would do her best to start cleaning the areas out starting with the basement area.  If she was to find anything of interest she would make a pile of things she wasn't sure of and would need someone to help her in determining if it was of any value.

It was going to be a long road but she was prepared for it.

Once inside she would lock the door back just to prevent any wondering people from entering the open door.  She would also take the liberty of remember the the area outside if it was something of a place where she would be able to lure in some followers and people to help repair the damage parts of the place that she wasn't skilled with.

"If only I had someone here to help me fix things. she thought to herself.  That was when she wanted to go outside and see if there was anyone out there that she might be able to persuade in aiding her.

 There weren't many people on the road near the building where Nefertiti had set up her new Haven other than military personnel out and about cleaning up the rubble. However, you had found one. He had been out riding his bike, navigating the rubble, on his way back from classes at the Institute where Michael and Fate had gone.

 It took only a bit of persuasion and a glimpse of power to get him to agree to help you clean up your new Haven and even invite you over to his own apartment.

Nefertiti was pleased that she hasn't lost her touch in seduction. As the man offered his aid she was kind enough to give her name.

"I'm Nefertiti.  I do thank you for your assistance and your offer is ever so kind.  I don't know much of the area and would like to discover more if possible. she said with a smile.

"How far from here do you live?  I was hoping there was a place around here where I can gather some food and things.  Would you be able to guide me to any locations around here? she use words of soothing to find the goodness within his heart to aid her needs.

 The man did not live particularly far away but seemed more than a bit exhausted from his biking trip and studies. The storm had knocked out power, forcing him to commute to the institute via bike the day before and return after class. He didn't know of any places to get food other than the shelters but offered to take her the next day after he had rested.

Nefertiti was pleased to find a shelter as long as it wasn’t the homeless shelter were she knew the wolf-men were associated with. She didn’t think she was in that direction. With all this she really never felt tired but she did need to rest every once in a while to regain some strength.

She followed him to his place so that she would have some idea where to find him if she needed and she was also interested in going to this Institute for this was the second time she heard of it today.

Can we go to the Institute tomorrow? She asked   Maybe there she might be able to find out more about herself and gaining what she desires.
