There was only one reliable way into the Realm of the Dead that Noah knew of... so one mini Kaiju transformation later, Noah was big enough to carry Fate, Nefertiti, Jitters, and Wraith on his back and they made their way to the Adoni institute. It was only an hour or so flight by dragon (though the landing likely startled some people) and they now found themselves in front of a Power Shed. Noah had long since figured out the security barring the entrance and was able to open the door without difficulty.


OOC: for everyone who hasn't been here before. It is quite literally a concrete shed surrounded by a fence in a field located in a walled in area of the Adoni campus.

Noah was still in the water when he opened up a bit of Tass. Bigger on the inside was a rote that he was working on so he didn't have to be a dragon out in the open, before he got his wish. So he formed the Tass into a leather gentelmans side case. The internals large enough to store the Kaiju system in honor of Merry Poppins.

The whole trip over to this point he was working with Fate on her rote. "If you're not going to dip into mind magic to be able to control this copy I can either get you an implant, make you an imbued item, or I can set you up a super bluetooth head cam."

"This here is the powershed everyone. Mind the security as it is hell on ice so try to getahold of Atlas, Talion, or myself and we can get you in. When opened right it opens to one of the golden roads... or... the stair of the gods. The stair is protected by some spider creatures so I dont exactly know if we could visit there."

"Once we start on the path, dont exit the walls by any means. It's just a few portals but there is nothing outside the walls, and I mean nothing, void. I can get you if you decided to go for a skinny dip in nothing, but I cant promise how much of you comes back."

"But Fate, you may do well to see the space time breech outside the shed. Ill see if Atlas will let me clear the walls."

He pulled out a fresh clean sock with a gold coin inside, the gold coin had a goblins face on it. One for each person. "If you get seprated and want to go home, but cant make it to the door use this. Hold the sock tight and dunk your hand into a river or pond. The Ferry man will come get you. If you dont use the coins please do return them, they are worth more than I could ever express."

"Any questions?"

On the way over as Noah was talking to Fate, Fate listened keenly. When he mentioned mind magic she thought to herself then answered him, "I might learn the magic to control her, but I don't yet have the capability to do so. Until then a super bluetooth head cam sounds like the right type of idea. As long as I don't have to implant anything into me, or her, then it sounds good. How would the imbued item work?"
Fate fell silent as they reached their destination. It was like nothing she had seen before and she was in awe. As Noah mentioned a time breach she wondered what she could learn there. It'd be a sight to see surely, but learning something from it was a different matter. Maybe she could gain a better concept of what she could do after all of her studying?

 The door to the shed clicked and the door opened, though no one was on the other side.

 Inside was a large circular room with large marble pillars forming doorways. Each of these doorways led to other places. None of these places seemed to have any connection to any place on Earth.

 The room itself seemed to be comprised mostly of lead. Lines of glowing arcane power drew iridescent patterns across the floor, inscribed with spells beyond mortal comprehension.

 In front of each door stood a man... the same man, apparently, bald, wearing a suit, and glowing with enough prime magic that it was visible to the naked eye. "Greetings to you newcomers. My name is Atlas. I am the caretaker here. It is good to see you again, Noah."

 Atlas's eyes seemed fixed on the happenings inside each portal. The one standing in front of the Pandemonium portal spoke. "Your girlfriend has made quite a splash in the Supernal Realms."

Noah smiled at Atlas, "I was under the assumption one of you was vacationing on the Yacht. All work and no play makes Atlas a very tired boy." Noah turned around as his mostly human self and was walking like a tour guide. "And we're walking. As you can see the observatory is made out of perfected lead. This was the remnant of the tower of the leaden coin that allowed Moros to awaken, now it is just a hole in the ground with a sign that says jump."

"Atlas, do we have a view port to see the space-time anomaly, or do I need to make the walls transparent again?"

 Atlas didn't turn. "I had several months' vacation while you were gone. Many things have degraded while I was not tending to them. Work is quite hectic at the moment."

 He placed his hand on a control pad and part of the floor became transparent, revealing beneath them a black hole with two stars orbiting it. It was a grandiose display of Arcanum placed out in the middle of the Abyss where magic was meant not to hold sway. "You seem to have quite the fixation on our generator."

Noah nodded, "If there is anything Taion has taught me, it is that books can only teach you so much. Being in the thick of it, seeing the effects in first person will absolutely teach more than you could ever learn otherwise."

"And I have no doubt that my knight in shining armor has flipped the supernal realm on its head in a short amount of time. For a woman who is a ghost, she sure packs a punch."

Nefertiti had nothing to ask whilst on the ship and mostly listened to what Noah and Fate talked about and the concept of a double. She has seen the Archmage do that and more during her time around her.  It was good to see that they were inspired by her. Now it seemed that it he only thing was fir her to get her soul and then she too would be capable of casting all the spells that she seen preformed.

Never being to the Land of the Dead, it would be another new chapter in her life but it seemed that Noah has been there before. Hoping that he would share any knowledge of the place with those that are journeying there for the first time.

Looking at the shed and following others inside she listened again to what Noah and Atlas spoke about. It seems that Noah has been making his away around this World and others

That she does, Fate thought to herself as she followed after Noah.

 The version of Atlas standing in front of Stygia moved to the side. Do be careful on your journey. All of the supernal realms have taken notice of recent events. You may find yourself set upon by those with ill intentions. Be sure you have supplies for your journey.

"If you set us near Baulders enclave I can drop off the letters. From there can you give me a course to the temple of Ishtar that runs by the sand storm? I think Mr. Wraith could do with some extra sand."

"Fate, any place in the land of the dead you want to visit? If things get too bad I have the ship in a bottle."

 The portal shifted focus rapidly, tuning in to a blackened necropolis with a sprawling mansion in the middle. "The distance between Baldur's Realm and Ishtar's is vast. It would take weeks even with Grey's speed. It would be much faster to return here when you are done with Baldur's realm."

 He handed Noah a small box with a button. "Press this and I will pick you up. Do be aware that the safety of the Observatory is my primary concern... so I will not pick you up if you are in a situation that would pose a threat to this place."

"I can't think of anywhere in particular. Any artifacts worth going after here?"

Noah shrugged, "There is a goblin market vendor that sells artifacts if you like. But his prices are steep. Memories, aspects, concepts like the color of your hair. Last time we had been there we got in trouble after we stole one of Baulders apples. Water from the river styx is said to wash away memories. If you ask Mr. Wraith he may bottle some sand from the maelstrom for you, that is hell on ice for ghosts."

"Outside of that most of the value in the land of the dead is knowledge. Anyone who has died and not moved onto their eternal rest is there. Little g gods, and all caps HEROES."

Nefertiti looked at Noah "Would you know where that pyramid in the black sand is located? seeing that it is the only reason why she would want to adventure into this place.

"Far enough away we would die of starvation or thirst. If you want I can drop off the letters real fast and we can dial into the location. I just gotta unload the letters and accept any they wrote ahead. Sound good?"

"Baulder is apparently protective of his ambrosia garden but I'm just there to keep my word. So there shouldn't be any conflict."

Nefertiti wasn't sure if Noah was the right one to take her there without any magical back up or protection.  She was hoping that Mistral was able to join her in this mission to regain her soul.

Letting out a sigh, she didn't know what to do or to say for this was a territory she wasn't familiar with.

Hunching her shoulders.

"Mmm? If you want it can wait. Or is there something else on your mind? Something has you out of sorts, and I am better with magic than I am reading people. I may be a monster but you can speak your mind, I promise."

"As you know I'm going there seeking my soul. It will surely be protected or guarded by something.  Will you be able to handle that? she said looking at him.

"I know Mistral was capable of opening portals to get in and out quickly.

"Mistral MUCH better at space magic than I am and my teleportation vertigo means I cant use them on myself, but she taught me enough to make a portal. Outside of that I am a master of prime and a dragon. Not to mention I brought the same system with me that turned an entire demi-realm into a parking lot." He patted the side bag he had with him. "If things get too bad I could take on half the realm. That being said I would still expect us to be kind and respectful. If I can avoid a war with the land of the dead I wish to do so."

He smiled, "I am proud of you though. You haven't accepted just any normal soul. We could make you one but it wouldn't be special. It would just be a blank." He leaned forward, "We deal with near-divine powers day to day. And you haven't given in to just getting a loaner soul?"

Nefertiti smiled to Noah "Why would I give into a soul that wasn't mine.  One that knows what I desire and have the same goals as myself.

I'm a Goddess, well a Demi for now but will one day claim what is rightfully mine. tilting her head with a wink.

"If you believe we can get there and achieve our task, then I will accept this.  I have no intention on causing a war with the Realm of the Dead.

Noah gave Nef a bow, "Dont be disappointed if we just make a little headway, but dont be suprised if we pull your soul whole. For we are the few who may come this way again." Noah pulled his giant cane from his pocket and maintained his mostly human form as he strode through. "Thanks Atlas."
