GM Time Fracture (Noah/Mistral) (0.4.3a)

Noah and Mistral remained in bed drinking coffee. There was much still to do but there was always time for a little togetherness.

Noah nodded as he nuzzled up to her. "I don't know how advanced or detailed the cloning process was. You've got baby fresh feet so I can only guess." He scratched the bottom of one of her feet to make the point. "I'll add it to the list, gotta go easy but there is no good sense in giving up good food experience."

Noah rumbled in gratitude at the offering of coffee. Noah's style of coffee was a cold brew shot that was so concentrated that it made puerto rican cafe look watered down. He never screwed around with his coffee. Tea was a whole other matter.

"This morning?" He twisted and came out in his mostly human self. "I am sure I can keep at least one of you busy until we set off for the fates or to never never."

GM Time Fracture (Noah/Mistral) (0.4.3a)

The foot-scratch made Mistral jump with a yelp, followed up with a not-very forceful kick.  She nuzzled up again and said, "I understand that this body was grown from a blood sample and is un clone identique.  All seems to be in order, but with no alterations from expérience de la vie."  Mistral sipped the coffee and found the flavor quite strong, though whether due to brand-new taste buds or because 'extra mild' to Grey was still a powerful brew.  She mentioned, "The clone had my natural hair coloration, from prior to my Awakening.  It changed to this--"  Mistral ran fingers through silvery-white and blue hair that was softer than it had been before, "--after my soul took occupancy.  An enduring secondary effect, it would seem."

Noah:
"This morning?" He twisted and came out in his mostly human self. "I am sure I can keep at least one of you busy until we set off for the fates or to never never."

Mistral repeated with a coy smirk, "Oui.  This very morning."  Noah changed form, and her eyes took in the part-dragon part-man form, then nodded, "Your assistance is appreciated.  Venez à moi."  Mistral draped her slender figure across the bed and invited him to join her.  Once he had, she confided quietly from close, "There are perks to keeping a physical form, non?"  Then she kissed him.

"Mmmm, so it's not entirely different from your duplicates then? One mind and soul piloting many bodies?" he made some adjustments to the to-do list.  "Still, silver hair or no, it's a blessing to have you back." He did indeed join her to burn away the morning. His wings in the mostly human form opened to conceal them from cameras he was sure had been present.

GM Time Fracture (Noah/Mistral) (0.4.3a)

Mistral frowned, “I certainly hope Talion has not made plusieurs clones of me.  I am only aware of this corporeal body, and this is the only one I inhabit.”  She drew part-dragon Noah in toward herself and said, “Yet, I am able to contrive une âme miroir, which is more akin to what you describe.  An independent sub-soul spirit, if you will.  It was this that you met first upon my return.  She has returned to my Golden Road for now.  There is work to be done there, while we have work to do here...”

It was certainly interesting to re-experience intimacy for the first time.  There were challenges, but it was also very much worth it.  After effectively killing herself to ascend her soul through Hell’s crucible and then be reborn, Mistral needed this to feel a part of this world again.  At this moment she needed that connection to Noah to feel alive.

Afterward Mistral lay still with eyes closed for a long time, an actual smile upon her gaunt face as she hugged Noah.  Quietly, she said, “Did you say you wished to visit Pandemonium?  I’ve established something of a holiday home there.  The site it stands upon is... intéressant.

GM Time Fracture (Noah/Mistral) (0.4.3a)

As Mistral smiled Noah wrapped her up in his arms. He exhaled and the vapor was pattern. The swarm of his soul reaching out to comfort even the portion of her that was in the nothing that was the void. She was home and it would be hell and high water before he let that be taken away from her. "Just interesting is all. I've still no strong understanding of how you divide yourself. But I don't think he has made more than what was needed."

He rumbled at the mention of Pandemonium, already feeling sick at the idea of such a place. "I need to visit all the towers before they are gone. The hardest one is in Pandemonium. I can't do it alone though, in such a place Ill fall to the floor and stay there. I can't do it without your help." Noah had a stupid amount of power, but he was powerless when it came to space and the realm it held.

Noah:
"Just interesting is all. I've still no strong understanding of how you divide yourself. But I don't think he has made more than what was needed."

Mistral smirked as the vapor pattern swirled about their embrace, "There is no division as such, because I co-occupy plusieurs emplacements simultaneously.  A fine distinction, but one that becomes clearer with understanding of l'illusion spatiale."

Noah:
"I need to visit all the towers before they are gone. The hardest one is in Pandemonium. I can't do it alone though, in such a place Ill fall to the floor and stay there. I can't do it without your help."

Mistral nodded and stated, "I will bring you there, and stabilize against the realm's non-Euclidean nature.  There may be Archmasters who object to your quest, but... une chose à la fois."  She smiled contentedly while holding Noah and watching the comforting imagery he had conjured.
