GM Time Fracture (Noah/Michael) (0.4.3b)

Noah's drone remained on the beach with Michael. Michael had been given permission to enter Talion's workshop. With machines capable of making java launchers and gnome guns, there was no telling what they would find inside.

The little drone, Clyde, drifted over to the computer and plugged in. Letting the cartoon Noah onto the screens. "Right, just arrows or do you have anything else in mind? This isnt the fabratory so there are many automated systems I can turn on for you."

GM Time Fracture (Noah/Michael) (0.4.3b)

Michael entered the workshop and glanced over at cartoon Noah. He thought about what he would need considering the variety of foes they had been fighting lately. “Well my first thought would be a variety of arrows with a quiver that wouldn’t drop them if I were hanging upside down or something. For the arrows I was thinking some with with iron powder on the tips that would explode the powder over the person that was hit, a few that were just straight up explosive arrow heads, a couple that could embed into concrete and scramble radio signals, some that produced a small EMP, and some with napalm tips. I realize this is starting to make me sound like a comic book hero. I suppose with some Space magic in the quiver it could hold any and all arrows needed. I did also have a thought about some iron powder infused chalk sticks I can use when making my wards.”

GM Time Fracture (Noah/Michael) (0.4.3b)

The door opened into the amethyst room where Talion did his work. Most of the workbenches were things that could be recognised from a wood and metal workshop, but there was also a pottery station and numerous other workstations that ran the gamut from seemingly neolithic to apparently quite advanced.

Walking inside was dizzying though... because the first time you turned, the topography of the workshop changed but turning back the way you were didn't change it back. It only changed it into something else.

"Right." The little Drone started zooming around. "If that is the case we need PLA, Carbon, Iron, a few textiles, and assorted electronics. Just dont push any green buttons and we should be fine. Once we get the components we can take them to my lab and we can get you cooking in no time."

"Try counting your steps, if something gets fucky walk backwards the same amount. It's about how I deal with space twists. Ready?"

Michael nodded and kept his hands to himself afraid he would set off some pie launcher by mistake. “What do you need me to do?”

"Well the drone is only as good as a light, Clyde has about a total weight limit of five pounds. Follow the drone and pick up what it focuses on. And if you hear a creepy clicking noise... dont draw your weapon. It's the big guys cat, If you just ignore it he will leave you alone."

Michael was following the light of the little drone. However, it turned as it was speaking and suddenly vanished mid-sentence, leaving Michael alone on the path with the machines.

Michael nodded at the drone. “Yeah I made that mistake once. Fluffy and I have already been acquainted. So what materials…”His voice trailed off as the drone disappeared. He scratched his head and shrugged. “Well I guess I have the place to myself now. Hopefully, I don’t blow something up. Here goes.” The Hunter had made his own arrows and equipment before, so he was not completely clueless as to what to look for or how to fabricate them. He wandered picking up various materials and tools eventually finding a box of sorts to put them in as he perused.

Michael had fully lost contact with the drone but had managed to walk around and gather materials. He had enough for some of what he wanted to but not quite enough for everything.

He also ran up on a large velvet cat bed in the corner... a VERY large cat bed and it was empty. However, he couldn't hear the telltale clicking that would indicate Fluffy's presence.

He shrugged his shoulders and started walking back the way he came collecting anything else he needed that he came across along the way.

Clyed flew up and started on a grid pattern trying to find its way back home. Drones on auto pilot are never too smart.

OOC: to make sure, Michael, when you started heading back, did you turn around and start walking strait or did you walk backwards?

OOC: turned around since walking backwards would not feel natural at least the first time in the workshop.

GM Time Fracture (Noah/Michael) (0.4.3b)

As Michael turned around to head back to the entrance, the path changed. None of the machines present were the same and the giant cat bed were gone (and so was the entrance). Instead, he found what seemed like a metal mannequin with shreds of clothing in a waste bin nearby. The shreds of clothing smelled like meat.

Michael looked over at the metal mannequin in the waste basket. It might be a Synth for all he knew. “Um hello? You wouldn’t happen to be sentient would you?”He felt like in any other context he would seem crazy. The entrance had gone which meant that any time he turned around would be something different by his deduction. After waiting for a response from the mannequin, he would turn and start walking again.

The metal mannequin was just that... it seemed to be how Talion fed fluffy (by stuffing meat into clothing then dressing the mannequin with it).

Michael turned again and, with a few attempts, Michael managed to figure out the basic gist of how the workshop functioned. Turning one direction shifts the workshop one way. Turning the other way shifts the workshop in a different way.

Turning a full 360 degrees on one direction will return the workshop back to normal and you can back out of it.

He managed to escape without the drone and with only a minor headache from figuring out the spatial anomaly that was Talion's workshop.
