Did you not wish to be part of Carmilla's plan to rule this city?  Why else would you do such a humanist crime against me.

Noah drew with a claw on the table to spring up an area phantasm if a fight broke out. "Nef, he came with a peace offering after we killed his employer. Wounds are still sore I know. Just, be considerate that there are way too many moving parts here."

"Al, this is Mr. Wraith. Mr. Wraith this is Al. Mr. Wraith is a buddy who helped us out when we got teleported into the maelstrom in the land of the dead. He has been just about the best guard when I'm injured or incapacitated."

"By all means do answer her. As you've given a peace offering I'll expect all to remain peaceful for now."

 Alfred nodded. "Your restraint is appreciated. However, I feel I must clarify somezing before we continue. I am not one of Carmilla's minions. I became aware of you when you cleared the Abyss from my gas station.

 When I became aware of Carmilla's scheme, I knew zat I must put a stop to it. To zat end, I enlisted ze aid of ze verevolves. However, appearances needed to be upheld until I could save you. Besides, zat vasn't even your soul, frauline. Ze likelihood of a soul still existing in ze state of zis one after more zan three thousand years is less zan zero."

 Wraith, meanwhile, continued to stare him down. Alfred kept glancing at him. "Is he just going to keep doing zat?"

Nefertiti looked at him for a moment she glanced at Wraith with a smile then turning her attention back to Alfred. "I have already calculated that they were there because of you and I was not devoured by the foul Carmilla. she paused and smiled "Why else do you think your still alive and not died like her.  At first I did assume that you was Milo cause she was looking for him in a panic state.  But you have cleared that misunderstand up nicely, Alfred.

She took a step closer to him "Just so we are clear.

I am not or will ever be your test subject to study.

 Alfred paused for a long moment before speaking. "Your attempts at intimidation fall flat, Frauline. I have dealt with far more imposing tyrants zan you in my lifetime. Also, considering your physical state, I feel I have very little cause to worry about your 'calculations'.

 Now, as to the reason I called you all to zis meeting. I wish to ask somezing of you..."

 He clearly was no longer speaking to Nefertiti at this point. "I wish to meet with your benefactor. I would ask to learn from him as you do."

"NO she said outright.

"I will not have part of it and you will not be allowed to meet him.   If that is the reasoning for this meeting then it was a waste of ours and your time. she didn't hesitate to be direct.

"Thank you for your time and meeting. Have a good night Alfred.

Noah took in a long breath and let it out. "I hope he keeps doing that, he seems more pissed off than usual."

Noah waited for Nef to finish her venting. "He is indisposed for now. I will relay your wish to him and let him decide. But I strongly encourage you to wait until he has had time to mourn his children."

"After Carmilla was killed we found them dead, I had to evacuate him."

"The whole orphanage was killed, Baby Alex and his mother was killed, the twins are dead, famine was killed, even Jitters got poofed."

"So do understand while we recover. I cant promise he wont kill you for your association with the one who killed his kids, but if you're willing to risk it I will let him know."

 Alfred stopped in his tracks, outright ignoring Nefertiti for the moment. He raised his sunglasses and stared at Noah for a moment. In so doing, he dropped all pleasantries in shock. "You mean zat was why Carmilla had her minion attack an orphanage. das Aas!"

 He put his gloved hand over his forehead and cursed in German for a solid ten seconds. He rubbed the bridge of his nose as he calmed down. "When I parted ways with Carmilla, I made sure to tip off ze police about her plot. However, it is not so easy to do with an orphanage as it is with ze mayor. Ze mayor's guards managed to capture him before he could do him harm... but I was unaware of ze fate of ze young ones. I am truly sorry to all of you for your loss."

 He sighed and stood back up, dropping his sunglasses back over his face and putting on his white hat. "It seems I must put my plans to become his student on hold for now... but I vill send you some of my research later, including some zings involving ze blood magic of a certain demon cult zat has been active in ze area lately along with a means to track zem. Auf Wiedersehen."

Michael had observed the whole exchange in silence as most of what was going on was before he joined the group. Instead, he kept busy by keeping a lookout for any signs of trouble or spies observing the scene.

Nefertiti was done with speaking to Alfred, and she was even more upset that Noah would go against her wishes.  It wasn't him who had something ripped out of him to take away his freedom to walk in the rays of Ra.  It wasn't him who now have to feed off the blood of the living.  It wasn't him who lost their connection with their Goddess.

Nefertiti has joined this Cabal but now it seemed that it was more of a hinder to stay with and they didn't respect her.  This is not the first time that Noah has insulted her but she planned on making sure that it will be the last.

"If you wish to inform our benefactor of his wishes to learn from him, then I will not wish to be part of this Cabal and I will wish to leave after I am able to regain my flesh. she added as she took the box that contained her soul. Be it not her own personal soul but it was her soul that her Goddess gave to her.  It didn't disturb her that it was a scrying soul, it was hers that granted her the use of Arcana the way she remembered.  Now she was a walking undead with a different sort of Magic.

 Nefertiti found that it was somewhat more difficult to reclaim the box containing her soul than simply picking it up off the table. Wraith had grabbed the handle of the box in his teeth and hopped off the table with it. If Nefertiti moved to try and take it back, he growled and skittered away.

 Meanwhile, there was one last important thing to do for the night. Victor would be arriving at his penthouse soon. It was finally time to get the Blood Hunt lifted.

Noah sighed, "You already decided to leave the Cabal when you tore into Talion. You stated you would decide if you would come back or not. And we still did our best to help you, going so far to sacrifice limbs and lives to help you."

He twisted the fingers of the hand he still had and the floor turned colors. "Hop in Michael. Ill catch up."

 Nefertiti didn't have much time to mess with Wraith or to reclaim the box from him. Instead, a portal opened beneath her feet without warning and she fell through... though she did manage just enough grace to land on her feet and not her face.

 Those who came through the portal found themselves in the penthouse suite of Victor, the Prince of New York. He sat in his chair at his desk. The suit he wore was now riddled with bullet holes and, despite the fact that he seemed to have been here for some time, he did not seem to be interested in taking the jacket off.

 Though his voice was friendly, there was an edge to it. "Hello again, Nefertiti."

Fate had been watching the exchange quietly. It was not her place to speak nor did she have anything worth saying. When the portal opened beneath her feet she falls through it landing on the other side somewhat disoriented, but she gathers herself quite quickly and looks at her new surroundings. Fate noticed the man sitting before her and watched carefully having had kept her eyes keen on whatever was around her. She noticed the bullet holes and thought to herself, Another one on Carmilla's shit list? She remained quiet though still watching and waiting until she was needed.

Michael hopped into the portal and landed on his feet immediately looking around at his surroundings. Seeing the Prince, his hand was on his rosary, but he didn’t make any aggressive or sudden moves. He had taken out many vampires in his Hunter days but never before a Prince. His mind raced to all the protective incantations he could think of to ward his mind from magical influences. He spoke a quiet prayer of protection to strengthen his will.

OOC: Spend one WP to activate Epipodian Safeguard. I add my benediction rating (5) to resistance checks against things that try to control my mind or actions.

With the portal opening beneath her feet and she did land at a perfect standing position with her Athletic abilities.  Her eyes glanced at Noah for his sudden show of power and his quick comment toward her and not allowing her to speak her part on it.  Only showed her how childish he can be when he don't get what he wants or someone goes against his decision.

Nefertiti looked around and gave the Prince a nod "Greetings Victor.  What an unexpected meeting with you. she replied for she still didn't like the fact that he put a Blood Hunt on her cause of a threat from Carmilla. He was the Prince of this city, right?  It only showed that he didn't have full control over this city and one could be after his crown.

 He stared her down, never taking his eyes off of her. "I would say that this visit is 'completely expected'. Your feud with Carmilla has had far-reaching consequences.

 Your every word has endangered me, Kindred society, our alliance with the mages of new York, and potentially the entire world. I have every right in the eyes of not only Kindred society but also mage society to snuff you where you stand.

 It is only because I've given my word to Sal, and as a personal favor to Talion, that I'm making this offer to you at all. With Carmilla dead, there is no one remaining to push the Blood Hunt. Therefore, I will raise it from your shoulders... but only under the condition that you take the oath of the Camarilla.

Swear to obey your Prince, to respect your Elders, and uphold the Masquerade.

 Refusal will see me enforcing your Blood Hunt... and there is no place in this city that you can hide from me. You may have been a queen once, but no longer. You have no kingdom, no servants, no armies... and, from now on, no special treatment from the Kindred."

She looked at him "Is this something I must decide now? or are you allow me a moment to think on your offer. she replied.

Not sure what he was stating about her every word has endanger him, the Kindred society and the mage.  It wasn't her who started this attack upon those that were associated with Talion's spell.  It seemed that the Prince wanted an escape goat to blame for his failure or his weakness as a Prince.

 "The offer ends in thirty seconds. After that, or if you refuse, I will ensure that the full might of the Camarilla is brought down upon you. Not just Kindred. Every mob boss, every fixer, every shady business in this city will have your picture and a million dollar bounty for ending your life."

Nefertiti looked at Victor "I will not be forced into some oath with you Kindreds.  Unless you wish to take the time to tell me fully of the Camarilla. Then the thirty seconds will surely pass and you do as you wish. she replied very calmly like a Queen would.

She smiled slightly as she thought about this Camarilla, wasn't Carmilla a part of it in all this craziness.  Wasn't she a subject of this Prince who wasn't able to control her and she was after his city.  If this is so, it doesn't impress the Queen Nefertiti to be part of something so corrupt.

 "Then you will die. If you ever return to this city, we will do our best to ensure that none of Talion's other companions will be harmed... but YOU will not be so fortunate.

 You are dismissed."

 He turned his chair back to face out over the destroyed city.

 Right around that time, Noah arrived at the top of the tower.

Noah came in the roof and worked a phantasm as he came down the stairs. Three people stood, Carmilla, Nef, and sal. "Please call up Milo sir."

"I've got a link to the Merlin of New York active as well. I've been going back and forth between everyone once everyone started going down."

"This started at the party by all accounts. A minor confrontation with Carmilla. You seemed to bait her rather than to submit as a new member of the court. Carmilla, so I have been advised, is the oldest vampire and around the top ten in the united states. She took it as disrespect and started researching the group."

"From what I can tell she found out about Talion's kids being kidnapped by the earthbound and what it did to Talion. So she hatched a few backup plots. Just in case we did some mage business to her."

"The man we met today removed a poisoned soul from you and gave you back your divinity, while also setting up your escape at the hands of the werewolves. He was there to overturn the wicked Carmilla but did so as a double agent. You may know his kind as the hidden ones or jasus." His Egyptian pronunciation was practiced on the word. "Someone whom I don't trust but the facts are there."

"Milo can relate why Carmilla was up in arms about him."

"This falls on me as well. I should have killed Carmilla the moment I lost my arm pulling her acid blood from you. And again when I blocked her acid from hitting you with my wing."

"There are a lot of things we should have done, but the door to the cabal doesn't close until the member closes it. We are an island standing alone, and we cannot stand in opposition to the mages and the vampires."

"Today all of Talion's orphans have been gunned down. No survivors. Baby Alex and his mother are dead, the twins are dead, the archive of Talion's wife was killed. The crew of Tortuga Two are all dead. One of the horsemen are dead. The goddess detonated Grey's corporeal form."

"I've been where you are right now but in the tides of the mafia. It all started when you did not show the utmost respect to the most powerful elder around, and then made worse when we snatched her."

"Don't think you will stand alone on this. I will submit myself to Talion's judgment and I will not resist if he wishes to take my life as a price for his dead children."

"But humility is the only way out of this, and as much as I think you don't like me, know I was willing to die to save you. I had no idea the effect that burned your body away and was willing to take it for you."

"Please reconsider the princes offer."

 Milo came in with Noah, holding a piece of paper. He was a tall, young, light skinned man with sandy blonde hair. "I am Milo. Were I to guess, I would say that she was cursing me because I had excluded her from a party in which I had invited every other Kindred. I did so because she was responsible for the rumor regarding me and the beasts in the sewer."

 He held up the piece of paper. "I came because they released a photo of the orphanage shooter. We handled the situation before the Masquerade could be broken."

 The piece of paper he held up was a picture of Nefertiti's follower. "I believe he was yours?"

Confused on this part, why is Carmilla standing?

It is an illusion, a copy of the first meeting he was fed. Not real but entirely visible.
