 Fate returned from her mission to gather intel, arriving at the Obsidian... Mountain(?) via portal.

Fate makes her way back through the portal and waits rather impatiently for her allies to return. She greets them each as they make their way back to the mountain. Once they have all arrived she speaks, "It seems we can be of use to my order. It would appear that hunters have taken over most of New York. Maybe you can speak to them and find out why?" She directs her question at Michael. "Perhaps there's something we can do to get them to clear out. They have the Merlin of New York and the order on high alert and their making rebuilding quite difficult."

 Fate was the first to arrive and it took some time before the others arrived. One of the first things that Fate noticed was that Fluffy was missing. The gooey "bones?" of the spirit remained in a neat pile in the corner but the invisible monster himself was nowhere to be heard.

Michael appeared through a nearby portal looking sad and took a seat while he looked at the ceiling. When Fate addressed him specifically, he looked over after taking a few seconds to contemplate a response. “The fireworks show from the ritual has attracted large groups from most likely multiple Conspiracies. A magical event of this magnitude would probably make them even decide to work together. You can’t reason with them, and the more they think there is a threat in the area the more of them there will be. Right now they’re in recon mode trying to figure out where the sources of the supernatural are before orchestrating a tactical strike. Mages are the most difficult to deal with because each one is different in their powers and abilities making it hard to come up with a strategy on the fly. Some won’t even care about innocent bystanders caught in the line of fire. You can’t force them out. They simply just have to be eliminated until there force is small enough to where they would not be able to survive an all out attack. Then they will pull out and scatter. One bird with two stones would be leading them to eliminate the cult that has been causing an issue lately. Gets rid of them and lowers the Hunter numbers. Hope that helps.”

Mistral was in the Obsidian Pyramid when Fate arrived, though that didn't rule out her being elsewhere as well.  Noah arrived suddenly in the center of the great central chamber accompanied by three of the synth companions restored after the disaster, Aly, Bia and Meep.

She asked Fate, "Have the hunters threatened any particular targets, or have they only established a presence, as of yet?"  Mistral paused to consider, then asked, "Has any headquarters been identified for this... hunt?"

"No headquarters that we know of yet and no threat was mentioned. Whatever their reason for being there it's making people nervous and people don't tend to make good decisions when they are nervous."

Noah immediately went to refresh the molten rock bowls for heating. He was in a work mode to cope with the trauma of success and the tower was in need of junction boxes so heaters and lights could be plugged in.

Noah produced his slate with the numbers for Mistral. It was twenty thousand gallons of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide to produce a Thermobaric weapon for her along with a shopping list. "That is about what we will need. Know anyone who can get us military amounts of the stuff? My accounts are frozen for two months."

After some time spent in silent mystical observations, Mistral remarked, "Our friend Voscal prepares for the hunting of vampires, and has a number of outils particuliers for that purpose."  She looked to Michael and added, "He has made a headquarters of a former apartment of yours, Michael.  It does not seem a large operation, so perhaps is only a small part of the overall campaign."

Mistral took a look at Noah's list of required ingredients for a thermobaric weapon and raised her brows as her pale eyes traced down the list.  She looked up and said, "I have no contacts for such a purchase, but if a stockpile can be located I may acquire what we need nonetheless."

Noah nodded once, "Any major airport is going to have the amount of fuel needed. So far as I know there are only two kinds of drones that could be retrofitted to hold the cargo. John Deere made the Volocopter back in twenty-thirty for spraying fields. The other was the roto taxi made by beechcraft, a biggin that could pick up cars."

"The gas, just gotta play a flight line guy a hundred bucks and they wont tell a soul. Takes airport security half an hour to tell you're not supposed to be there in the first place. Best to hit the San Diego airport. Recruits from the Marine training base escape over the fence all the time so they are constantly tied up."

"Buying a farm would help my efforts to rebuild New York city, and give a plausible reason to own a crop duster, if the model is still in use. Of course, if its going to be seen at the scene of a crime... hmm... I might know a guy who could get a hold of such a thing 'off the books.'"

 Turns out, Sal "knew a guy" who was more than happy to arrange for the purchase of a crop duster off the books. It would be delivered to a warehouse outside the city in 2 days.

Michael listened to Mistral’s analysis of his former Haven. It was both appropriate and ironic that the Hunters had set up shop there. “I had raided a weapons cache from one of the churches the Hunters had been using as a base and torture chamber. It seems that cache has been found along with the stores of food I had air dropped there for the inhabitants. It makes sense they would setup shop there. I can tell you where one of the other possible outposts are.”He described the church where he and Fate had initially met where the Hunters were operating out of the basement.

"Right." Noah clapped. "So we can likely hit one of the major airports and cart off with the fuel we need. New York will likely be under military control still."

"Um, would you be opposed to us sending a message by taking out that torture chamber? I don't want to step on your toes man but a place like that is not likely to go unused long if the hunters are ramping up."

Mistral considered the potential heist of high explosives, and shook her head, “We get ahead of ourselves in this, je crois.  We have more immediate matters to attend to.”

Turning to the matter of the hunters, Mistral considered, “We must consider the broader picture, with regard to the hunters.  They have targeted Awakened and vampires, but who else?  I fear that thwarting the hunters may benefit enemies as well as allies.”  She paused, then added, “I would like to know more of their operation before acting.”  Looking to Noah, she asked, “What ever became of the signal-decoding device we left the hunters, some time past?”

Sal said, "Explosives we've got. But Mistral is right, the Hunters keep the cult's activity down as well. What are the odds we can parley with the Hunters-- forge a truce, until the cultists are out of the way? If we can get the hunters off the mages backs at least, maybe Fate's order can aid us against the cult. I wouldn't push my luck trying to negotiate for the Kindred, though."

Michael considered the indirect use of the Hunter activities. “Perhaps then instead of taking them out, we lead them to where the hideouts of the demon cult and other supernatural threats to us. When those threats are lessened, we port them at Isis.”

Noah pulled out his slate, "Once they found out their jammer tech stopped working they scattered to the winds. In effect we just have to record synth movements and find dead zones, we will find the others at the dead zones."

"But my little jammer inverter is still up there."
