Re: ▶ OOC Conversations

Well.. Hollen doesn't look like he will survive unless someone can get to him and heal him or bind his wounds in the next six rounds.

Re: ▶ OOC Conversations

Unless we do some time shananagans, meaning you maybe woke up a few minutes after they left. You might be able to get to the cave, You would be able to travel faster than them in the wagon. So you could have caught up. Just know that the two threads are not in current time. So I may just let you make it to the cave.

Yeah lets do that, If you plan on following them. You can arrive at the start of Round 3.

Re: ▶ OOC Conversations

So Casting time for Cure light Wounds is 5, so your Initiative Roll is 1d10+5, I am just going to add 5 to your roll of 1. Making your Initiative on 6.

Virius Tesh:
Then, after your players have all posted — regardless of the order in which they posted — you get to sort it all out and summarize the round.  There will be plenty of cases where some DM common sense and/or handwavium will have to get applied (player wanted to attack Goblin #1, but Goblin #1 had fallen by that point of the round, etc), but it will certainly cut down on the waiting on others.I don't feel super strongly about the above, but at the very least, guys should announce intentions during the init roll, particularly casters (throwing myself under the bus here).  Otherwise ... I'll never lose a spell because I'll never choose to cast if my init sucks.

I agree. Intentions at the start, with an Initiative Roll, and a statement of what you are doing, and then I will arrange as per the Initiative Order. I like that idea seems like it would be smoother.

Can I draw my blade move to H8 and attack? Do we roll initiative every round?
Thanks
Or shall I hold back to cure people?

Oh, you took care of all the current combatants, Now its just movement further into the cavern. I don't believe anyone else took damage and the 7 you healed Hollen for was good, since his max is 10HP.

Re: ▶ OOC Conversations

Just a heads up, the combat is not over, we are still in combat rounds, but you can go ahead and Roleplay interactions, etc. You can clearly hear more goblins and things happening further into the cavern.

Also, I will not be around for most of the day, we have a graduation bbq that the entire family is attending. I should be around later this evening, if I'm not sunburned or sleeping.

Re: ▶ OOC Conversations

Uh how many rounds have passed? I had assumed one round. While the movement and actions of some of the others make it seem like 3-4. Given when moving silently we only move 1/3 or usual rate.

Re: ▶ OOC Conversations

Even 1/3 for someone with movement 6, which is 60' they can move 20' (4 squares) a round.

So its likely been two rounds since Althiof moved the furthest. So Korkas you can move up further then I only moved you one rounds worth of movement.

Re: ▶ OOC Conversations

Sorry about yesterday, Ended up going out an hanging out with a friend from my wife's college classes, who invited everyone out to his house for Memorial day for Hamburgers, grilled hot dogs and apparently to watch possible Tornado's touch down. He lives out on a farm in the middle of rural Ohio and a bad storm blew in yesterday right in the middle of the party. We had to all rush into the house and barn for cover. Not I! I walked out in the middle of the field and looked toward the oncoming storm and watched, was beat with fifty mile per hour winds and rain. No Tornado decided to show its ugly head I think I passed my Intimidate check against it!

So it was a long day yesterday. I'll try and get everything on track today. Movement may be a little janky, but everyone can assume to have gotten down to the next palisade Timbers. Even searched the goblins, cutting ears, avoiding the creek etc.

Re: ▶ OOC Conversations

I didn't even see that little door on the south wall until Althiöf stood next to it!

Do we hear sounds from just one of the directions, or both?  (south and west)

Re: ▶ OOC Conversations

hopefully that update made it better. The sounds are coming from behind the south timbers right next to where Althiöf is standing now. Althiöf can also see through the open area, and further into the cavern.

Stormrider Truesight:
Storm moves to T10. He does not have enough movement to attack

So you are aware, Humans can move 12' (Which translates into 120 feet) Each square on the map is 5' In 2nd Edition you can move up to half your movement and still attack. So you can move up to 60' and still attack. If you'd like to stay at T10 that is fine, but if you want to move and attack the Goblin below that is also fine. Its only 40' to the Goblin from where you were. So you could make it. Lemme know.
