Re: ▶ OOC Conversations

Virius I took the image, and got rid of the white boarder and the words at the bottom, and made it a little smaller. Hope that was ok.

Re: ▶ OOC Conversations

^^ None of the above.  :)

I do tinker around with a few cool heraldry sites though.

[http://www.rpg.uplink.fi/heraldry/] This one is pretty neat, and user-friendly.

[https://www.drawshield.net/]  This one requires you to type in the blazon first, and then it shows you the shield (it takes a little trial and error to get the formatting right).

Re: ▶ OOC Conversations

Did the message letting us know of Rusman's death happen to mention how he passed?

Was it old age?  Unexpected?  Suspicious at all?

Re: ▶ OOC Conversations

Between NPC dialog and the Notice Board, That is where a lot of the plot seeds are going to be planted. So keep that in mind when reading, If an NPC is talking, unless I specifically say they are whispering, then you can overhear NPCs dialog and assume to have heard it.

Re: ▶ OOC Conversations

^^ I think there's a lot of mileage to be had in the Gallant/Ghetto-Fighter juxtaposition.

I love how stuff like that randomly comes together.

I'm going to go ahead and setup the Languages here on RPOL, I will try and get most of what the PCs have (at least those stated out so far.)

I think I might need to make a NPC Roster to keep track of all these folks!.

Re: ▶ OOC Conversations

Yeah, but that wont stay sticky for long. I keep having to reference the names, having a running thread works much better. Plus lets me add notes to each NPC as you learn stuff, like the Goblins stealing the wizards spellbook.

Re: ▶ OOC Conversations

Question, I have three people sitting in my inbox that want in this game, should we get a seventh, and request a Priest? I can scale the game to where healing wont be absolutely necessary but having someone with it would be nice. Its up to you folks, I am fine with running seven people.

Re: ▶ OOC Conversations

If you haven't lets try and fill out the Description areas, I will use those areas for reactions from NPCs on how your character looks, what weapons and armor are showing, and what overall demeanor your character has. So these help me run the game smoother in the long run. You can also edit it as you progress, change armor, pick up new weapons, cut your hair, etc!

Re: ▶ OOC Conversations

You do not have to wait for the others to post or catch up. The others will get involved when they are ready. With a group of seven I don't mind having two smaller groups doing different things and then later bring them together, so if your holding back posting because you don't want to get to far. Don't worry about it. The other players just need to read over the first post to understand what is happening. Plus the way I set it up, They may still be upstairs napping.

Virius Tesh:
"Perhaps we should tell the Gnarleymen and one of them could lead us?"  Virius suggested, becoming more and more enamored with the idea of retrieving a fellow wizard's lost property.

"They know these lands better than all of us combined, and they would fain see their homelands clear of such thuggery."

@Hollen Jeth This give you a good opportunity to come into the scene, if you'd like. Or they can find you later. (hahah I just noticed I used a Discord Command to try and tag you, dang I've been playing over there for too long.)

As the resident wizard, I won't be attacking much ...  but I would not be opposed to crits/fumbles being added.

DM:
Virius would understand that Spugonior is talking about loosing a Familiar ...

Oh cool.  I totally thought Jeremiah was a person.

Having lost a familiar though, makes it way worse.  If Virius wasn't in this guy's corner before ... he certainly is now.
