My Bio has my current hps. But it all depends on what you memorized at the beginning of the day. Unless you did all free casting limiting your spells

Re: ▶ OOC Conversations

I've seen mention of a mayor twice now. Brune & Rufus would technically fall into that role. The Town Hall building doesn't have your regular Town Council, or Mayor as a normal town might. Right now the Town Hall Building just has a large table, and many chairs, Burne and Rufus converted it over to a Feast Hall when they took over the role of Council for Hommlet.

Storm, I love the idea of utilizing your resources to get things accomplished around town. But we may need to find a better place for things like that to be said, Should something happen int he Cemetery thread, your comment is going to be buried. Also, opening up a dialog with Rufus or Burne about the idea of constructing a fence is a good idea. There are laborers in town, but most of them work at the Keep building site. I don't want to accidentally overlook your contribution/goals either. Your proposal is a good one and is part of the worldbuilding I like players to participate in. But you are actually going to have to do the things you mentioned, go and talk to Burne and Rufus, gather the townfolk to the townhall, confront the church to why its not upkeeping the cemetery. etc, etc.

But, I like where you are going.

Re: ▶ OOC Conversations

Kossoth Zan:
Err...

I know what voting means but what exactly in this context?

I guess in my head ...  I figured it would be the items being voted upon and a list of names.

Example:
  • Scimitar — Kossoth
  • Bag — Ali
  • Ring — Korkas
  • Brooch — Virius
  • Cloak — Althiƶf
  • Potion — Ali

Just like the man said on tv ... "Just the facts, ma'am."

If we make the business thread the discussion thread as well, than it will become muddled and hard to follow (and very little business will be conducted).  The 'I thinks ...' and the 'I feels ...' and the 'Well, how about we...?' statements should be here in the OOC.  Ideally, the Party Business thread should just be for the calling and tallying of votes and not for the presentation of reasonings and/or discussions about the results.

Like so:

Party Business thread
Me: Please vote on the object.  My vote is y.
A:  Vote x
B: Vote x
C: Vote y
D: Vote x

Me:  Results have been tallied.  x = 3, y = 2, x receives the item.

Now, most times, an item won't be in contention, so every single item doesn't have to be voted upon after an encounter.  But when we cannot agree as in the case of the cloak — it was really valuable to a thief, and we have two thieves, so it makes sense — then we take it to a vote.

^^ Of course ... just because that's how I saw it working in my head, it doesn't mean that's how it will stay.  It does't seem to be working all that well ... I'll do some thinking on it and see if I cannot retool the process when I get home from this trip.

Ali Ansari:
In reply to Dungeon Master (msg # 38):

OOC - hope not forwarding the story to quickly.

Ali along with Korkas (and any others) enter the Defenses perimeter and walk to the main building housing the Goblin, Ali is carrying a bowl of stew and a glass of water carefully.   He walks up to the gaurd(s).

Any trouble good sir(s) with our Goblin?  Has he talked anymore?   I've brought some food an water to help keep his tongue flapping with information we need.

OOC- depending on anything the men at the building have to say depends on if Ali goes straight to the Goblin or asks more questions

OOC if all good Ali, looks to make sure it is alright to go to the cell area, I see all is quiet If so he will go down and Sighs, Here Xavi, I have brought you some stew and water to wash it down, you have been most cooperative so I will not burn your flesh off but help you stay alive  pauses today.  Sets the bowl and water carefully down and slides them into the cell.

Taking a seat, so Xavi, can you tell me more about this Goldenhair hummie and his followers.  like how many followers does he have at this moathouse?  You can use your fingers to help.

OOC - If problems Ali will ask - So, what issues do we have with the Goblin good sir(s)

Ali way to many if/then options for me even to respond off this. I appreciate you're trying to cover not being able to be at the keys. Now I have to wait for the DM to respond to the appropriate one(s) before I can even continue.

Please do not add other people into your responses, even if they are clearly with you. let them add themselves to the scene.

I edited your post with the quote and responded to it accordingly.

Well I will return with what information I have but it sounds like there are gnolls, ogres and Ogre magi there. That's going to be a tough one. Unless we are smart.
