Re: ▶ OOC Conversations

For those of you that are game of thrones fans, Sir Standrenn would be a hedge knight.

Re: ▶ OOC Conversations

That's ironic, heh. I never followed game of thrones, but the term "hedge knight" predates it by quite a bit.

Basically a knight errant?

At least with you two around perhaps our Cleric will decide he doesn’t have to stand in the front line anymore...

Game Talk

If Korkos and Althiof want to go and scout the Moathouse under the guise of darkness without the others, I can summarize the events that happen while they are scouting so we don't have to do an entire scene of it happening without the others. And then they can report on the findings in the morning over breakfast. Its up to you folks. Even with the darkvision they may see some comings and goings at the moathouse but wont get the full extent of what is happening within its walls without getting closer, and risking getting caught etc.

I'm ok with either option. Let the Dwarves go scout or everyone go tomorrow. Plus we do have to give the new players a little time to get the characters together.

New Players

Nice roll for Attributes Doran (2,6,5,2,6,3,5,6) got yourself a few sixes in there. Standrenn you should also roll your 8d6 (record each die) to get your dice to add to your base stat of 8's. Once you guys are finished with creation let me know and we can jump you right in.

Thanks DM.

Almost there. Just need to track down a few of the more esoteric tables.

I'm up for it if Althiof is. I wasn't planning on getting to close. More a look about whats on the outside, patrolling guards, etc

In reply to Korkas Stonedelver (msg # 983):

Welcome new fiends of this follow of a great group that still does not have a name :)

I am good with sending the Dwarves to scout.  Ali could never do it in the dark right now.

Sure, a summary scout would be great.

Re: ▶ OOC Conversations

Sure!, as for the Weather, No it stopped raining yesterday, but the ground is still pretty soggy, minor flooding happened yesterday. feel free to post in the Hommlet Streets if you've just arrived, OR you can post directly into the Inn of the Welcome Wench, maybe you arrived late last night and got a room. (people come and go all the time from the Inn.) One of those two places would be ideal.

^^ Wishful thinking.

Sorry for the disappearing act, gang.  Early July sort of kicked me in the pants this year.  Nothing bad though, just tons of outdoor family stuff and graduation / birthday parties to attend.

Re: ▶ OOC Conversations

So, this transition period has slowed down the game, adding new people can do that. But I don't want to loose the momentum. So lets have this little sparing match between Korkas and Doran and then we should jump into whats happening next, rather its going to the moathouse, checking out the road to the south, etc. We should get into a adventure though so we don't loose our momentum.
