 | Father Calmert looks down at the exhausted, unconscious Acolyte. "Lets get him up stairs." he says Father Calmert grabs the legs, while the other Acolyte grabs the unconscious mans shoulders and they both lift, and start carrying the man towards the staircase. Father Calmert turns towards Stormrider. "Follow us." he says. |
| Father Calmert with the help of the others, gets the man upstairs and into one of the small chambers and onto a bed. Turning to Stormrider. "Did he say anything when he came in?" asked the Priest. "Where is the dagger he had." The other Acolyte pulls it out and hands it to Father Calmert. "Here you go sir." he says. Father Calmert looks over the blade, and then looks to the blood on the robes of the Acolyte, and the claw marks. "It looks like Brother Jaydon was attacked by something, and defending himself." he says. "Yes.. That has to be it." he adds. |
| Father Calmert turns to Stormrider. "Please, let him rest, that is what he needs now more than anything, even with our skills in healing, we shall allow him to rest and wake up on his own." he says. "Sorry, you have to excuse me, if I am being a little straight forward with you. We just had an outburst during our service and things have not been good today, I fear that this may be retaliation from the outburst. It looks as if Brother Jaydon was attacked by something, something large according to these claw marks. I can only guess that it was one of the animal creatures that those of the Old Faith keep as companions." he says. |
| Father Calmert listens to what Stormrider says about Black Jay, nodding along the conversation. "I went and spoken to Black Jay and checked on the sheep, I must admit I am not that knowledgeable when it comes to animals. But I too noticed the evil aura on the farm. I don't know what it means, I tried a consecration prayer and we assumed that it would end the sheep dying. It did not. I told Black Jay that I did not know what it was and suggested that he put up a flier on the notice board in town to try and find someone that could better investigate what was happening." he says. Father Calmert walks back downstairs leaving the acolyte to rest and for the other to look over him. He talks with Stormrider as they walk down the stairs. |
| Father Calmert says. "I don't think that this evil is something that we can make visible. Its more an evil act, someone is coming to Black Jay's pasture and killing these sheep with malicious intent, anger, and hate. That is the evil that I detected. I just don't know who or what is doing it." he says. |
