So speaking of 40k a guy owes me some 3d printed models for something I bought for him a year or two ago and was thinking I was going to do a Starship Trooper themed Tempestus army. But as I was looking for a 3d printable Viking Dropship, the big box ship from the movies, I found these guys who just so happen to have a good chunk of 3d printable models on there range they have tanks, transports and even Ogryns in this style. So I am going to save up for a 3D printer my friend recommended me and start building an army myself, but he said he would make me a 500 point starter to pay what he owes.

That's pretty cool. Man I wish I had a 3d printer when I first got into Warhammer. That would have been amazing!

I remember my army being limited by what the hell random stuff my FLGS had in stock. I didn't even know you could always just ask them to put in an order, I thought the random bits were part of the game like in MtG

Hey bit basing is half the fun. I have an admech army and I ended up making a dominos out of the parts from the box and a marble and some necron bits, wanted two distinct looking Techpriest so one is normal and the other is like a crab bot

Kit bashing is something you can do if you have a huge stockpile of parts lying around. At the time I didn't. Now I could kit bash the crap out of stuff but I no longer play physical armies anymore :(

So for those of you not following GW stuff they just announced some new models. Most of all I hope this means that GW might be about to start releasing other regiments in plastic, instead of just having catachan and cadians.

Blanket general statement. My real life has gotten very busy these past two weeks. Work stuff, some people were let go and I'm picking up their slack. I think it is dying down as this week looks pretty calm and in general until mid-July things should drop back to normal.

I am still here. I am still dedicated to play. My free time ebbs and flows and this is an ebb time. I will update when I can but try to have some patience with me this month.

Hey I am still here, Ive been dealing with a new job and stuff at home as well it's all good. Worse case scenario we get some new blood and start over.

Unfortunately my job has decided to shift a ton of responsibilities to me. I'm looking at having to cut by my online time to posting only a couple times a week and at that pace I don't feel that this game is going to work out. I had a lot of fun getting it started and it sucks that we only got through a week or so but I just don't have the time to run things anymore.

If anyone is interested in trying to use what I put together I can help move stuff over to them.

I'm very sorry that this didn't go farther but I also wasn't expecting to switch jobs in the middle of this and then have half my new team get cut dumping all their work on me. That's life though. At least I can let you know and not leave you twisting in the wind /shrug.

Funny thing is not long after seeing that message I got in touch with people who want to play Necromunda IRL.
