You have to make an account but you can make any gang, it give you access to all the items and skills and such its really helpful.

Cool. If we don't get a lot of people and you're up for it you could run two gangs. I can make sure they're at opposite ends of the map so it would be rare for them to encounter one another, if at all.

It is still too early to tell how many applicants we'll have but my goal was 4. I don't want to put too much on you though so 2 gangs is probably fine but all 4 might be a bit rough to avoid them fighting one another.

I would build a normal gang for two reasons

1) As we get more comfortable with things I may expand it to larger maps

2) If we decide that small maps & crews are the way to go, I will likely introduce "double fight" nights where you fight two missions but crew that goes to the first fight is unavailable for the second as a way to give love to larger crews and add more strategy around who you send into a particular fight.

As with all things there would be a narrative reason for it. For example, while you're sending a crew out to claim some territory another gang has launched an attack on your "weakened" defenses.

If you want to use Yaktribe to track your gang just drop me a link to the roster. It is pretty slick to track everything so I'm cool with it.

Hey I am running Slave Ogryn so bring you shotguns I will bring my Toughness 5 with 3 wound, 2 wound for the 'juvies' and lobo's and have some fun. If we can't use gang tactics it will be rough for me though. It's one of the downsides to playing Slave Ogryn, no guns save for a terrible one.

Worst case scenario I got back up gangs if the Ogryns end poorly due to there lake of range and cards. But if I get in melee may the emperor help whoever is on the receiving end.

Hmm, how many Ogryns did you manage to buy ? They are kind of expensive, aren't they ? That may be all I have going for me, because my Road Captain is the only ganger I have who can hold his own in close combat.

I have 6 my Overseer(Leader), 2 Underboss's(Champions), 2 Lobo-Slaves(Juves I thing) and one basic Ogryn. My most expensive is my leader at 210 with furnace plates an axe and an arc wielder one of my champs is armed exactly the same and the other has 2 augmentic fists. Both the Lobo-Slaves have spud-jackers and augmetic fists with hazard suits and my ogryn has a spud-jacker, furnace plate, and an arc wielder as well.

Being Slave Ogryn I am always an outlaw, and I can really only freely buy wargear I am not allowed guns save for 1 terrible one and I can only buy a certain list of melee weapons. They are really going to be one of those 'If I can get a guy or two into melee' kind of gangs.

Meanwhile I bought 10 guys, and I went for the long game: apart from my leader who has a plasma pistol and a chainsword, the others have one weapon each, meaning I have 5 guys with combat shotgun (champion, specialist, 3 gunners), 2 with autoguns (gunners) and 2 with chainswords (juves). The idea is that if the money starts coming in I can start buying more weapons to give each guy some versatility, and in the meanwhile at least most of them have a decent weapon that will remain useful.

And yes, my juves are overpriced trash, but I'm hoping I can get at least one of them some xp to turn him into a movement specialist. Or they'll both die and I'll only be out a little money :/

Yeah my focus is going to be getting some stim slugg injectors and armored body gloves for most my guys, and skin blades so they can escape since they have the Runaway rule so if they get capture you don't sell them. The it's to try and get as many guys the 'Walk it Off' Muscle skill as possible to let me remove wounds and flesh wounds by making a double walk action and a toughness test.

I am going to try and stay away from bringing enforcers into the mix, played them in a league and never lost a match with them. There expensive but boltguns are just so strong.

So you might be thinking "What should I do now?" Here is your list of shit to get done:

1) Finalize your gang roster.

2) Scour the internet for mini pics. In battle I am planning to do this:

For your models. First pick a primary color that I will use for the border. I'll add icons to represent champions and leaders at a glance plus I'll have model names active so you can always cross reference their yaktribe lists as normal.

I have generic Orlock/Ogryns but this is the closest I can get to the joy of kitbashing your fighters together.
