Probably do a tech specialist. Not sure of a odd race. Kushiban? Could do a clone trooper soldier but eh. Never did a noble.

Probably going to be a small race for a techie. Maybe Kushiban or a Mrlissi. Jawa? Not many small races. Hmm.

I say tech.  If I redo anything on Ari, it will be to be more useful, but a tech is needed.  And a medic is not a bad thing, although I could tweak.  Maybe make her a pilot?  Or some such?  Force is nice, but a good scoundrel pilot might be good too.

Agree on the pilot, always useful to have a solid pulot.  Tech can make a big difference too.

So a scoundrel or a tech? Gotcha. That's not what I asked, I asked for the race above :) Really I'm up for playing any race.

Well anyone can pilot. Its if you want it to he tbe main strongsuit. Trying to have a shootout here in space is a bit if a pain.

With the group going to be started in the Jedi Temple, if there is something you would want let me know. All Jedi start with padawan robes and lightsabers.

Fixed the sheet Wookiee. Got 4 FP not 3. You can still use the Wookiee weapons (there is some in the book and the advanced book) so Bowcaster, Rykk blades, ect.

Force Sensitives: Gain 1 more force point.
Each Level: 1 force point

So everyone so far has 4 Force Points I believe. Unless you have a cybernetic. You get less Force Points and a few other small bad things but there's also good things.

Anyone need help with their sheets?

Keep in mind padawans don't 'own' their lightsabers. Basically they are brrowed till they becoome a Jed Knight and want to create them. Right now they don't have a clue the makeups of them (course can just 'open one up')

I gotta tweak.  3rd level?  Gonna make her more useful.

Yeah 3rd level. I think you can go Jedi Healer but might be level 4.

I'll look and see.  Heck, I've been around long enough to earn level 4. ;)

Well I did play a clone trooper before that had a shorted out chip. It was a scoundrel. Could do say a tech specialist. Course any class really works. Having a clone trooper with the demies of the Jedi could be a interesting aspect.

Course I kinda wanted to play a 'short' race but the clone is appealing.

And I just realized I did something completely unintentionally when I named my Wookiee.... I was using a name generator I had found online (Fantast Name Generator IIRC) and was putting together sounds that I thought would make a good name... I just realized I named him Creature.

Yeah I will do a human but prefer to try something different. Yet the group needs a clone I think, could be interesting since clones and Anakin attack the temple. Up in the air lol. Never did a noble.

Nobles can be fun, with a certain amount of superiority, but also (in some cases) a good sense of leadership and responsibility.  I've played noble daughters of powerful people - a great way to find credits.  Or get out of trouble.

Soldier is always good.  If you do a clone, you can have that choice of following orders or being rebelious.

also a fire extinguisher


Instead of a "cattle prod" I have an Arc Welder
and instead of a standard claw, I have a Servogrip pincer hand.

*Technically it is not "instead", these things can be changed out.

Just an all around useful droid....and not far off the mark for an astromech model.

I agree that is a cool race.

Kushiban and Verpines are cool races. Zeltrons are just interesting humanoids with a different perk. But yeah they are cool.

I think it is interesting because they branched off from humans, making for a really interesting idea for an "alien"

There's quiet a few that are very humanoid-ish like tusken Raiders. Weequay. But you want to run with something with high charisma? Zeltron (+4 to charisma). Good for the face if you want to go down that route. Holovid Star.

The holovid star look alikes class feature reminds me of Spaceballs, where they capture the "stunt doubles"!!!

No, there isn't any classes that are combined. There's some in the Hero's guide but that isn't a combination for 1 class.

Added in the Heros guide in char generation and on here. Found it.

No clue. I want to build up to it and with 2 people, I want to have the group talk for a bit.

It bugs me when people join, gett he sheet basically done and then vanish. It happens, I get it. But having the character sit for like 1+ months? Yeah.

It has been a odd week. Having a girlfriend or exgirlfriend (whatever she is) confused about stuff, then me falling for her doesn't help. She's a odd duck but I dunno. Always go for the different ones :(

I play in a free form game where you makes stories, and started four that have all died in the last month.  Not sure why.  Maybe a lag in online playing?  Or something else?

Honestly, not sure if I'm interested in an X-Men game.  I've seen two have real issues keeping it interesting.  I suspect people, or maybe it's people like me, expect an online post game to feel like a real game, especially the kind of games at gaming conventions I go to now.  Those are games that start fast, have fast interactions (or at least plans for several fast interactions) and feel that waiting two weeks or a month for something to happen is too slow.  I am not saying you are slow, I have seen this in a lot of games here.  I just think a lot of players, especially young ones, are so used to games being like movies that start from moment one that they don't have time for what we used to do here, which is coast, find out what everyone is like, role play a bit, then move on.  Even life games have that problem anymore.  People have been spoiled by video games.

Play by post can go a lot too slow for video gamers to get into.
I like the pace and enjoy the interactions....

Wait. How can a 'X-men game' he the same as X-men play by post? Vastly different worlds and if someone expect the same thing, I laugh at them.

As for games people get busy. Some people don't care.

And I used to play video games. I like them. Just dunno.....

I'll get to work on building the character sheet and trying to find a picture in the avatar options ASAP. I've been told custom pictures aren't an option here, so we'll see if there's a Duros picture in there.

For the existing players, Kir is a Duros Scout who works as a transport pilot for the Jedi. He credits a Jedi with saving his life from an almost-certain death at the hands of pirates, so he feels he owes them quite a bit.

You don't have to stay in the Medical area. Can check out more on the power outage. Check out a few other areas. Don't need to even stay in the Temple. Perhaps can check out the hanger areas. Ton of places to explore.

Also there is no 'other one'. Just the medical droid and the Counselr plus you.

Also there are several training areas I believe. Just because one is not in use doesn't mean all of them are not in use :) Several hangers but there is a main one. Probably one medical area. You got a comlink as well as a I believe and I think a call system if interested. Its definatly futuristic.

No worries good DM, I have found the unused areas to be an opportunity for inspection/repair as needed....

Are there other droids I might call if I find a major problem?

Sure don't see why not. Can always hook into the system and do a 'call out' for them if you really need it.

So there are several training areas and several hangers.  I am assuming you do not want me to say 'I search them all,' that would be silly.  So I will walk through this one, looking around, then obviously there are other areas.  What would be an area that would have other Jedi and Padawan, such as a dining area, or a control center, or some other main area?

Jedi temple is rather big with several areas. Not really sure what your looking for. To search them all it would take a lot of time and effort. Most of the knights are elsewhere as the Jedi are at war, same as their padawans. Same as most masters.

I think a paadawan Wookiee Jedi Guardian could be cool. Or a clone trooper. Thoughts?

I honestly do not know where to go.  One would think the doctor would have company, but she doesn't, and the power thing was nothing.  I think I'm wandering aimlessly in search of something and don't know what it is.  Got a clue for us?  BTW, Guardian sounds cool.
