OK, Group 5 should be a blown up map of the area, showing where Luscious Meadows is and where Westbay is.  Hope this helps

Just so you all know what is going on, My Wife had shoulder surgery to repair some damaged ligaments (Tendons) and can'tndo anything with her left ar, furthershe has to keep it in a fancy sling, so I am Super dad for the next weeks anyway... likely longer.
Thus my posting is less often and many times less well thought out.  Anyway, Onward!

Re: OOC-1
Heads up, Next Thursday is Thanksgiving here in the states.
It is a pretty big affair, confused by businesses trying to make money as well (Black Friday... big sales the day after Thanksgiving), advertising all the things you need to buy for Christmas. It should probably be renamed Commercialmas.

Anyway, I am likely to be deeply involved in preparations ... baking and cooking, including a "Heritage" turkey. That's basically a non-commercial bird,  the original wild turkey bred on a big open farm. It's surprisingly different and far more delectable... and expensive.
Pity there is no way I can share a little with you, as I know Turkey is not something that Europe or elsewhere has found much use for.
The difference to me is as big as the difference between beef and lamb!

I agree. Proper free-to-wander turkey here isn't common and is rather expensive.
The battery turkeys are rather dry IMO.

We have bush turkeys, which are actually a different breed. I should try eating them...

Re: OOC-1
I don't know a thing about Bush Turkeys, and a battery turkey? do you plug it in to recharge it?

The turkey I bought was large for the wild birds and quite pricy, but it is only once a year and it is so much better  tasting than the domestic birds.  This one is only a bit over 16 pounds (I have cooked turkeys weighing up to 33 pounds on occasion) but then there will only be 9 people eating and it sounds like a ton of food will be there. I am not concerned, as left over turkey can be used so many ways and frozen so that people who have long forgotten the Thanksgiving turkey may eat it again in July ;-)

Chris1234, if you need to cook a Turkey let me know, I am sure we can keep it from being dried out.

For some idea of what we are talking about you can look up a Gould's Turkey, which is nativeto this part of the USA.
This will likely tell you far morethan you ever wanted to know:  http://www.nwtfhuagoulds.org/u...ulletin_5_9-9-09.pdf

Yes, and likely useless information as well. But it does give an idea of what we are working with.

High Treason is wanting to kill the King. It is much more severe than simple Treason, with penalties to match, and I suspect our lad knows it...

I'm making this up as I go along. Is there a better term?

Maybe something like "...Violation of the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Plaints..." ?

Conspiracy to defraud the crown would be much more appropriate. Treason at a stretch.

That was somewhat intended as Kenyan has been elevated fairly quickly and his diplomatic skills haven't caught up (plus i was having fun with it).

And I made it.... six pies down...3 apple and 3 pumpkin.
Pumpkin is likely another one of those things you don't eat/see much.

Took my wife and I six hours as two of them had to be gluten free! What a giant PITA! the dough just crumbles if you try to work it at all.

Thanks, looks like England today, gray, cool but not cold and damp out. Rain later maybe, although it always seems to be trying to avoid us.
