I'll assume that other than a few putting their foot in the stream, you have no serious issues getting out of there.
You make last evening camp ground safely if a bit wet ... A huge cloud of smoe sweeps up from the south, heading NNE ... Numerous people struggling through the area to your south, only a few come up as far as where you are, but are put off by the width of the creek excepting one small person who slides down the bank and flounders across with several men in pursuit. They all but run into you as they  continue to run.

The lead person looks to be being chased by 5 soldiers ... the lead person is charging into your group while checking the men chasing ...  They pause at the creek and look around for a better crossing most likely.

Distance (since I know you'll ask ) is about 40-45 yards [-8]

His shot is good.

Two of the archers hit, one in the chest and one in the foot ... The one you hit stagers and falls... the pursuers all fall back dragging the wounded.  The person running through your camp stops and looks, backing they ask "Who are You?"

They are pulling their wounded away and heading toward the camp ... three wounded out of 5.

She seems to have run off although you can no longer hear her busting through the brush.

You struggle in just as darkness sets in. You give your report to the officer on duty who has trouble accepting what you report, although they confirm the large fire in the grass by the enemy camp.  The Baron's son, who just returned is out scouting it even now.
