On the third day about midday, Omar and a group of about 11 other people show up. He lets the guard leave and speaks with you

We need go back to Zornath quick as we can. Have Princess with us.

You look around and realize the one most wrapped up in a burnoose is indeed a woman.
You have the men stowing gear and people as quickly as you can, and offer your hand to the Lady as she tries to step in on the step provided by Omar, She turns and smiles at you ... you see a rather dark skinned woman with striking features.

You learn that her name is Ryllaazade.

Mustafa just waits until the Arab returned, assuring the crew he will likely be some time. Once he does, he helped her aboard and makes way as fast as he can, using any competent Arab skippers to sail in the day and he will sail at night if at all possible, too make things as fast as he can.

Their are no Arab boatmen this time, but your two assistants are capable and willing to prove it... It still take some 3 days sailing day and night to get to the Zornath river. There, the wind becomes less favorable and even with the Lateen sail, you have to tack back and forth to make head way. You guess is that it is still faster than trying to row.  One of the Issues is that when the Princess needs to make a bathroom break, it's a good half hour or so with guards out and screens erected. She tries to contain herself, but Mother Nature will only accept "Wait a bit" for so long.

Mustafa will try to set up a special seat for the princess at the stern of the vessel, using any tools he can find aboard for repairing the vessel.

All the same, he will make what headway he can.

It's not worth the effort in the end, although the effort and thought are appreciated. Omar gives you a pat on the back and the Princess smiles but doubts she could be comfortable cantilevered over the stern like that.

You are still tacking back and forth when one of the Boat men points out a large mansion near the river that has a lot of activity and soldiers... Omar wants to get closer, but not land.  He hails the soldiers and ask who/what/where they are and discovers that the Duke of Catheran is there, he immediately wants to be docked there (There is a dock).

Mustafa will make for the dock, and have the men cast lines. Once secured, he will allow the passengers to leave.

Mustafa jumps on the dock and helps the passengers and the Princess onto the dock. then follows them up onto the grass where a crowd of soldiers and Arabs forms. The Princess stays back and off to one side, and you move to her side to protect her as does one of the Arabs with a large two handed axe ... Halberd is what you think it is called.

You see a figure you recognize as the Duke leave the house wuith a Lady and head down toward the group.

Mustafa will keep a watchful eye on proceedings and their surroundings...is the princess the only woman?

The duke sees you off to his side and turns toward you and approaches with the Lady beside him.



Ryllaazade says Please make the introductions Mustafa, it is important we meet with a man introducing me to him.

Behind you, you hear her Body Guard right behind the two of you, and unsettling man, heavily armored with a Halberd. he has never uttered a word the whole time he has been traveling with you.

Mustafa steps forward.

"Your Highness it is my pleasure to introduce to you the lovely Princess Qaadna..."

He would then go on to name what he knows of her parentage and where she hails from, before introducing the Duke to Princess Qaadna.

The Duke smiles and nods to Mustafa and then takes the princesses hand and kisses it as he says how glad he is that she has arrived.

You hear Panting and Omar arrives too late... the Huge armored man stands behind the princess and looks to be on edge as he looks around in all directions.

Omar turns his head to you and says softly   Thank You Mustafa, that would have been my head!

Yes, out of Yours, but I am here to aid her....

He steps back and looks around, looking for any potential trouble at this critical juncture.

At this point all the soldiers are mollified and drifting away mostly, although most of the Arabs and a few of the soldiers are watching the Duke, Princess, Baroness etc. and the goings on.  As you watch, you note that the Duke and the Princess seem to be quite enthralled with each other and are still holding hands.

His task complete, Mustafa retreats back to his boat and awaits further orders, doing required maintenance as needed.

Omar will run down and throw him a small bag of coins, thanking him and releasing him.  There are 8 silver in the bag for you and the crew.
Assume you go back to Zornath Dock?

Everything was paid for, he give you(the captain) 8 silver as a tip. How you treat it is up to you.

Back at the Dock, your boss asks how it went, you note that there are a LOT of boats tied up and he acknowledges that things are grinding to a halt with the nobles men shooting at passing boats with crossbows and using some small boats to threaten them with boarding. Many don't care to take the risks. the amount some are willing to pay to ship things would be lucrative, if it could be done. Would you be willing to try it with a bigger crew, say 5 of you?  Put some shields up and have your own missile weapons to shoot back?

Mustafa would definitely be willing to try. He asks if he can get anyone skilled with a crossbow, or any crossbows?
