Also, be careful looking through character portraits. Its apparently really easy to accidentally select a new one without realizing it until you post..

You will note that the most recent post has a map associated with it.  Please make sure to include your position on the map in your next post so I can place you on the map in the appropriate position.

And don't worry, I'm sure everything will be completely fine.

Great, sounds like this town is set for a bright new beginning and we can all go home!

I rolled everyone's Perception and Initiative, and the map has been updated.

Let's do this!

The description sounded awfully like a coup de grâce, so it just gets a fortatude save DC 10+dmg taken or it's done :-(

OK just saw all the texts that explain round order and edited my post. I keep the group text muted because I sleep at odd hours. Can I keep the attack roll for when I actually get a turn?

Coup de grâce is a full round action, surprise rounds only get you a standard :)

Kemp! Save the doggo! Maybe it can be our pet and it can follow us around and cause problems during combat. I'll help take care of it, I promise!!

And hey! There is a small chance I may have crit on my first attack!

Re: OOC - Rules, Tactics, and Gameplay Discussions

You did not crit (The goblin's AC is bad while prone, but it's higher than 7).  But he's prone, so he has no Dex bonus, so you do get Sneak attack.

Re: OOC - Rules, Tactics, and Gameplay Discussions

Does prone remove the Dex bonus in 3.5? We were trying to determine that and the best we could find is that prone gives -4 to AC vs melee, +4 AC vs ranged, no effect on Dex bonus and therefore no sneak attack

Now if you want to house rule it, it totally makes sense to me that prone allows backstab. I also thought it did until we looked it up
