So would two Ettin clerics be four times as good?

Re: Out of Character

Are we from Helmsbreach, or from the east, and coming here for the adventure?

Re: Out of Character

Sure :)

Helmsbreech could be considered the bastion between the civilized (and dull) East, and the wilds of adventure.    You could be from Helmsbreach, or a long term transplant (there is a temple here, so you could be assigned)  or a transient visitor looking for a quick score.

Re: Out of Character

Wondering if I should change my character now, since Zorbon is a cleric of Mo, which was what I was rolling up as well.

So maybe for variety I'll switch over a surly dwarf.

Or be a cleric of Curly and you can poke each others eyes out.

(None of the three are "evil")

That would be clerics of Shemp...

Yeah, after consideration I think I'll go with Cleric of Curly. Will be posting in IC thread shortly.

Hey all, Nick here. I'll be your resident, uhm, suave charismatic..."Retrievals Specialist" ;)

Excited to be playing with y'all, I'm a big fan of LL, although I've barely gotten the chance to play it. Also glad to see the party's very well rounded out, we have every almost every class, just need one of those extra short ones! :)

Howdy!  I was going to play a Dwarf, but then said, "Eh, let's do a Fighter.".  And Labyrinth Lord just plain rules.  I hope we all enjoy ourselves.  Glad to see two Clerics, too!

Do you need anything more from me at the moment, or did you decide to meet the mayor?

Re: Out of Character

Here is a quick list of “party” equipment that I came up with that we could maybe get before heading out. I didn’t include a lantern because Ramirez already has one, and I didn’t include extra arrows or bolts because I wasn’t sure whether anyone already owns bows or crossbows.

10 flasks oil, 1gp
Crowbar, 2 gp
Hammer, 5 sp
Miner's pick, 3 gp
10 foot pole, 2 sp (if no one already has one)
100' rope, 2 gp
12 iron spikes, 1 gp
5 empty large sacks, 1 gp
grappling hook, 1gp

Donkey, 8 gp
2 saddlebags, 2 sp

Total: 19gp, 7sp

Oh, jeez, I can't believe I didn't reply to you,  Ramírez!
I've got a ten-foot pole, two large sacks, flint and steel, eight torches, three oil flasks, and seven days of rations as well as a waterskin.  Grabbed that from Palace of the Silver Princess!
GM, can I break my pole down into collapsible segments?

Sure, you have an axe, roll to hit.

(Then you can have a smith make a connector to it back together for 3gp per joint.)

It didn't even splinter, you now have two 5' poles with an iron end that locks together.

Sounds like we definitely need a beast of burden to help carry that load! I vote that we at the very least use some of the party funds to buy a donkey and some saddlebags, even if we don't need the other equipment just yet.

Falis, sweetie, save your anger for the Goblins and Grues.  That stick is probably AC 100 and could be split by a marshmallow duckling.

Yeah, let's get a donkey!  I LOVE to buy pack mules and stuff.
