Konrad:
Sorry, I think i'm a bit confused; I'm new to PbP, and was hoping I'd be able to follow along, but it seems like I've missed something. How does the combat round work?
I will handle the combat rounds. The first round the party was surprised, the goblins were not do only they got to act.
This is the beginning of round 2. Falis rolled her attack, as did Zorbon. I'm waiting on Arrador & Valaric to declare an action.
Ramirez cast a spell and Nick is feeding the donkey.
Konrad has the ability to do something, but not attack. He is to far up the stairs to reach the goblins.
Konrad:
Do I go ahead make my attack and damage rolls first? And post my action based on that? And how do I know if I do hit the goblins with my roll, without GM input?
You will declare your action, rolling to hit and damage when appropriate. Leave it open ended, just posting your intent, not the effects.
Once everybody has posted something, (even if it's just "I watch nervously"). I will roll initiative and resolve the round. Then everybody posts actions again.
Make sense?
