Curious how unfriendly rpol is for these things. So counter-intuitive.

I just want to throw it out there, if anyone is feeling apprehensive on the first post.

Like a regular rpg, post who your characters are or how they know each other. The road to adventure has a cliche of 1 so feel free to roll against it with your own cliche to earn the MOV (Monologue of Victory) and add to the sign.

Hello all, just saw this game yesterday after checking back after some time away from RPOL, been gaming since the 80s and with Risus since not long after it came out -- sounds fun.

Lots of old faces returning to the site. A day or two after our GM here reared his ugl- uh... um... heh... head again, another of my original GMs on this site came back as well! I've been swamped with nostalgia!

This place needs a facelift to the 21st-century.

Should we agree OOC if we know each other beforehand somehow, or if we are meeting here, or what's going on? Or just sort of improvise IC?

I think improvise unless someone wants a clearer picture of whats happening.

 Im choosing to believe we dont really know each other before this, that we are a newly formed group gathered by a guild of adventurers or some sort of want ad specifically formed to raid this dungeon (assuming its a dungeon that this road is taking us to)

Off to a good start, lots of character interaction and description.

In the future please mark record each die. Remember we are dealing with highest number not dice total. In that way a D6 can beat a D8 or D6 can beat 4d6.

You have rolls on your icon just underneath. Other than that it is nothing but the usual cut and paste savagery.

I might have missed this somewhere, but where is the rule for using highest die instead of total roll?
