Jasper the Pan Dipper
He is a hard rock miner and prospector that has his own chair at the Inn.
He only bathes by accidental fall in the creek or when caught in the rain.
Jasper has several missing teeth and has a raspy voice from breathing too much rock dust.

He concocts some sort of alchemical explosive for mining, but keeps it a tight secret as to the recipe.

His name is Arthur Miller, and he is the brother of the town miller {Name} come home again.

He is a confirmed bachelor, and he organized the recent tournament at Willow's Edge.

The Lord and Lady of Tolay
They are Lady Kendra and Lord Oswald.

Lady Kendra fostered together with the king's wife, before any knew the queen would be a queen.

Yseult (of Tolay) is their {sequence} daughter.

The Erl King
A mighty faerie lord, the Erl King rules an enclave of the Fae somewhere near the village.
He is fell and dangerous, but also capricious and playful.

Legends say that he has sent many brave adventurers on their first quests.

The Captain
The captain is a grizzled veteran. He is a commoner who serves at the lord’s pleasure, and he takes his job very seriously.

He is likely to be annoyed at inquisitive youths looking for trouble.

Grandmother Weaver
The weaver-woman has been old for as long as anyone else in the village has known her, with the possible exception of the elders and the witch, who calls her sister.

She knows all the stories of the village and the surrounding lands.

This friendly man helped the characters once or twice when they were growing up and can still be asked for help.

The Retired Hero
A great adventurer from two or even three generations ago, this once great warrior has settled in or near the village.
While {Name} is too feeble now to demonstrate his once mighty skills at arms, he is still made of stern stuff, and can be a source of knowledge and advice for the PCs.

This is a typical elder of the village.

Braden Ashwick organizes the town's Watchmen and makes sure they do their duties.
He is considered stern but fair and was assigned the position of Constable by the local lord.

Alvar the Tanner
A heavy sized man with blond hair who can usually be found at his shop or at the The Leaky Pott Inn.
He has a certain smell about him but a nice personality.
He is currently engaged to Vyria Draigh.

The neighbors tolerate the smell of his shop because he produces good quality leather that the other craftsmen about town need.
Where he can, he uses methods that stink the least but, they still stink.

Lord Math of Schardt
The local lord here is the wise Sir Math, son of Manton, son of Edred Red-Lance, for whom the battle of Red Lance was named, and which earned Edred this Honor.

Sir Math is currently without a heir as his wife died in childbirth.
