Locations

The Blacksmith Shop
This enterprise is located on the main road (east-west) and on the river side.
It is fairly close to The Inn.
The street to the Inn's courtyard crosses the main road and runs past the shop.

It is a large smithy that has expanded to handle the horseshoes of travelers at the inn, the occasional request of a passing footman, and the local trade as well as the local Lord.

The lord often needs armor, weapons, tack for horses, metal parts for wagons and other miscellaneous things like hinges.

Locations

Murkfen
A place far to the Northeast that Tobias has heard of.
It is rumored reclusive Frog-people dwell in the swamplands and propagate poisonous plants to protect their territory.

Some say they are friendly, but shy, others say they're hostile and the result of fell magics gone awry, others scoff and say they don't exist at all.

Locations

Tormalt Abbey
Tobias has learned of these Recent Ruins to the west of town.
A vineyard/winery that was destroyed by a huge sinkhole which opened up during a storm.

Apparently there was a schism in the brotherhood with many monks having broken sacred vows, the resulting catastrophe was the ire of their deity!

Some said a monk escaped, seeking help for his trapped brethren, but nobody dared incense the angered God...

There is a bridge over the main river to reach the Lord's Manor with a portcullis into the keep.

Locations

The Broken Circle

Yseult heard that it is somewhere to the southwest, where the plains grow hard and the dirt brittle.

From what she has heard, The Circle seems to never stay in one place for long.
It is said that there they have strange beasts that eat the rocks of the earth instead of grass.

Locations

Two Courts, Many Courts
The fae have two courts—the Seelie and Unseelie.
Opposites of each other as day is to night, they are akin to mortal factions.

Each of these is governed by a single fae, a high king or queen whose power is beyond that of a god’s herald.

Each fae noble, powerful beings in their own right, runs their own estates, in the same way as a mortal noble.
These nobles see little difference between the fae domain and its mortal counterpart, and
so consider themselves master of both.

Fortunately for mortals, they prefer to rule over remote locations.

Locations

Ancient Ruins
Nevyn has heard there are ancient ruins to the north-east, remains of what was once a massive fortress of jagged stone and black iron.

According to the lore of his order, there was a great battle there in a previous age, where the armies of the light laid siege to a dark lord in his fortress.

Investigating & watching over the ruins was one of the reasons Nevyn chose to settle in the village, for the order believes something or someone of ill intent has made the ruins their lair.

Locations

The Dark-shadowed Forest
The Dark-shadowed Forest starts just outside of Pottsville and extends north through the Valley of Whispering Leaves

The Shaded River runs across it just north of town and is crossed by a solid stone bridge of great age.
The river emerges from the forest and joins the main Rushing River, to the south of town, at Willow's Edge.

Locations

Molly's Tavern
Where people that are not locals can get a good ale.
While the locals usually go to whoever has breached their keg, someone's front porch is not so easy to find for people traveling the road.
Molly Brewster makes enough ale that she always has an extra keg ready to be opened for thirsty travelers.
The ale is good enough that the locals go there to listen to news and try to guess what she puts in it.
