I am an
old fart, er, experienced player and GM, but am fully capable of making errors in rules or in judgement. The former I do not mind discussing during gameplay, to some extent, but I would prefer that the latter be handled by private message if at all possible.
While I like the Pathfinder rules, I have always done some things by the seat of the pants, particularly things like knowledge and profession checks. I often may forgo die rolls on this sort of thing and simply have you know or do things that are appropriate to your skill. I may well do the same for perception checks, sense motive, etc. if it facilitates game-flow.
Some posting and playing rules and notes:
- I do not have RPOL access at work, except on my phone. I may make short replies with my phone, but I do not like doing a lot of typing on it, so longer posts will occur in the evenings (US Eastern time).
- Do not make initiative or combat die rolls until I ask for them.
- You may make skill rolls that you initiate along with your posts. If they end up needing adjust, I can do that after the fact.
- Please choose a color of styled text for your character's speech.
- Please reserve SeaGreen for OOC comments as shown below.
- I will generally post ACs of opponents, unless it is a boss, or there is some other reason not to disclose it. Feel free to narrate your combat if you hit.
