Important Note for Chrome users (at least, maybe other browsers, too)

However, I have never bothered to pay for a security certificate, so it is still http: and not https: The recent versions of some browsers will not follow anything that is only http: unless you specifically tell it that it is OK. So follow the link below and you will get a warning that it is NOT SECURE. Choose advanced and tell it to go there anyway. It is my own site and I promise that this will not infect your computer. This will tell your browser that it is OK to go to the images on the site.

Requirements
I am looking for players who are on RPoL every day or nearly so, and prepared to post that often. It doesn't need to be a tome every time, but in a Fate game you are expected to write a bit more than in an average D&D game. I'm looking for people who enjoy writing and creating
This is a newbie friendly game! If you have not played Fate before, that's ok. The mechanics are pretty easy and I'll be glad to help you through them. Fair warning, though: In a Fate game, the players are encouraged and even expected to help create the world. You have more freedom with your environs, but more is expected, as well. If you only react to the situation the GM creates, roll your dice, and wait for the next thing to react to, then Fate might not be for you.
I am not looking for anyone to create a complete character for an RTJ, just a sketch of what makes the character interesting. However, you should have looked through the rules and info enough that it is clear that you understand at least the basics of the world. The characters are expected to be heroic, among the best at what they excel at, so feel free to say that you are the best MMA fighter in Houston, or a successful race car driver tied for second place in winnings in all of United Northwest, or tops in your class at a prestigious university -- that sort of thing.
I am looking for this information:
- Character Name
- A paragraph about what makes this character interesting. This should include something about the character's personality, perhaps a little about their background (if it's important).
- Top three skills (You're not locked into these, but it solidifies the description.)
- At least one stunt (Again, you're not locked in)
- At least one Aspect, preferably the High Concept. (If you're new to Fate and you're not sure what I mean by this, then tell me, in a couple of sentences, the single most defining event in your character's life. Tip: the bombs fell 28 years ago, so that was a defining event for most people over 30.)
Quiz: Part of the requirements for your RTJ to be accepted is to show that you've at least skimmed the background material. Please answer these questions:
- What year is it?
- What is the approximate population of the world?
- Where in the world will the characters be at the start of the game? (Your character is not required to have grown up there, but you should have some idea of why you're there, now.)
- What's the difference between "USA" and "the U S of A"?
