The day is warm, but overcast, and a diffuse light blurs to grey among the distant trees.  Mustane has all the help he needs today, your quarters are as situated as they're like to be any time soon, and everyone else seems to have their own pet project to focus on today.  Rob has no obligations for a bit.  What might draw her notice?  What direction will curiosity pull her?

Investigating any odd or weird places is what captures Rob's curiousity. The possibility of discovering or recovering things from a bygone age is what makes her eager to get up every mornings! Having some "me" time, she tries to recall somewhere that offers, or might offer, such promise..

Mhari, in passing, mentions his intention to visit Yenth, Urr-Dani has requested a chance to visit the city on the morrow.. and possibly cross the dimensional gate while there to see New Yenth... if strange new locales is something Rob's interested in.  Z'Dakk is big enough to carry three riders... if we slow our pace a bit to allow him a single rest period to recover around lunch time.. perhaps a 4 hour trip?

When Mhari mentions the possibility Rob is quite enthusiastic, "Sure, we can do that. Set off first thing? Need extra food maybe? What do we know anbout where we're headed?"

In reply to Roberta Shadowprancer (msg # 4):

Mhari chuckles, "Yenth is not that far.. a days travel by foot.. but I plan on riding Z'Dakk ~ so flying there.  So it might take 3 to 4 hours instead.  So no need for a great deal of provisions.  2 days should be enough for safety.. and weight considerations for Z'Dakk for such a short trip.  We'll leave at first light... so you will likely be able to sleep most of the journey."

"Oh, really, wow! That sounds so exciting, Mhari!" Rob responds, vigorously clapping her hands with small motions. "I've not really flown before. Do I need some sort of strapping cover, like you get on a backpack to stop stuff falling out? Have you spent much time there before?"

In reply to Roberta Shadowprancer (msg # 6):

He smiles, "I have a combat saddle for Z'Dakk, it has multiple belts and buckles to secure me and any cargo to his saddle during aerial combat or inclement rough weather.  Its very similar to the saddle used by the Angulan Knights and their Xi-Drakes in Ghan. It's perfectly safe.  As for Yenth.. I have passed through Yenth but never stayed to sight-see... or traveled to New Yenth on the other side of the permanent dimensional gateway there."

Sounding keen Rob reples, "It's exciting. Looking forwards to that. Buut will you check my strapping? Maybe we can get a good looks at the gateway. You know, maybe learn something that'll help us here. That could be on the way back i suppose, if we're back a bit early."

In reply to Roberta Shadowprancer (msg # 8):

Mhari nods, "Triple checking all securing belt is the standard .. we want no mistakes when were 1,000 meters up!  See you a little after dawn."

"Righto!" replies Rob.

Rob is a little excited at the promise of dawn.

Early the next day perhaps an hour after sunrise, Mhari comes to Roberta's quarters to gather her for the trip to Yenth.  He is dressed for combat always ready to do battle but added is a small pack of supplies.  Clearly the Glaive keep his possession small always ready to travel.

"Rise and Rustle, ready for a flight to Yenth?", the charming glaive comments smiling.

Leading her back to the gates of the Clave the large reptilian.. though strangle smooth scaled Z'Dakk awaits with Ur'Dani and a few brave locals.  The saddle has several small saddlebags with supplies and many belts for securing riders.

Mhari speaks for a few minute with the locals getting instructions for mail delivery and small supplies for high value low volume needs of the Clave... mostly herbs, medicines and tools he's accepted requests to retrieve from the trip to Yenth.. for a small fee perhaps.

Ur-Dani stands nearby, clearly in forced calm...

Already prepared to head out, Rob shoulders her pack and smiles, "Heck, yes! Let's go!"

After explaining to Urr-Dani the specifics of Z'Dakk carrying capacity and making the final adjustments to balance and securing of supplies and goods, Mhari climbs into the saddle and secures his belts and buckles.

Then Explaining, "Part of carrying riders and cargo is to balance out the weight so as to not put too much undue strain or stress on his wing beats so he need only flap his wings on occasion and use the aerial thermals and winds to glide and maintain altitude with as minimal effort as possible.  So to that end I being the heaviest need to sit center of the saddle while you two relatively lighter than I are seated before and after me to balance out the load better.  Yenth is not very far away... but I intent to land and allow Z'Dakk to rest every hour so as not to over stress his endurance or exhaust his strength. I know HE would claim its unnecessary precaution... but Z'Dakk is proud.. and I'm in no hurry... no need to push or make the travel burdensome for him."

With that he reaches down a hand to help Urr-Dani into the saddle before him.. and buckle her in securely then he does the same to help Rob into the saddle behind him and helps securing her buckles and belts as well... letting Z'Dakk flex, extend his wings, and stretch his senuous neck and tail to settle the saddle with the weight into a comfortable fitting...

It is then.. the closeness of the situation sets Mhari's senses reeling as the press of their soft body warmth, and fragrant hair of the two women in such close proximity set his mind spinning...

He forcefully rebukes his thoughts, 'Whoa! Calm-down boy.. we are just going to take a short flight to a big city... Nothing More!!'

{We Perceive you are... ~~Untranslatable~~ {though likely meaning 'aroused'} by the females.. but flight in no place for mating among your species, especially in saddle on OUR back! Please control yourself.}

'Quiet you!'

To the two women, Mhari becomes very tense, sitting VERY straight in the saddle suddenly, as he takes hold of the reins...
