Sean Seamus Dugan at your service. Or John James, if you prefer. But mostly in these parts, he goes by Jack. And Duggan. Irish, if you like. And if you don't like, well... Irish all the same.

He's known as a wild colonial boy, somewhat irresponsible and high-spirited, likely to lark about and shirk his work (for which he's received a few floggings). He's also thought to be a touch light-fingered where moveable property is concerned. Not the most trustworthy of companions, perhaps, but a true friend to his friends.

James Osmund Gill here. On probationary release to the Free Settler family Cleary, he had worked on their Ranch as a hand for nearly half a decade. Starting back before Mrs. Cleary passed.

He's a little taciturn, but hard working and able bodied. The man does like to "come in" for a drink and company now and then, and does not shy away from deeper conversational topics.

Possessed of a large frame, he is rough and does not go out of his way to look decent. This has not done him any favors with the ladies, or the Governor's men.

Good lads, both. Excuse me while I rename the Firearm skills, I've messed up somewhere...

Is Gill Irish in origin?

And how does the Countess come to be in Australia? What does she do here?
